This to me is a very interesting cross section of todays culture,most people are just too stressed to even just step back for a second and just allow you to film,you could of been a serious customer with serious money to spend!!!,the people in the first shop had it spot on,the lady was very open to you and did her no harm at all!

Sorry you fell down the stairs. :( People won't stop to help anyone anymore. I tripped and fell when I was 9 months pregnant on 5th ave in NYC and people actually stepped *over* me, and no one helped me up either.

I have to say, as a trained vocalist, I think you have great potential. Vocal lessons can actually be fairly inexpensive, and you release so much tension and emotion when singing. Plus, most vocal teachers won't mind if you record the lesson. ;)
