not a joke but my ls1 literally runs better when hot. As in warmed up all the way, not over heating. But it runs better at 200-210 than it does when cooler.
It put down 250rwhp and 297rwtq. It was heat-soaked from the 2 hour drive to get to the dyno, and it wsa dyno'd as soon as I pulled in the parking lot. It was probably somewhere in the 265-270rwhp range if were allowed to cool a little longer.
