LOLL this is such a cute video :) I reverted to Islam a short while ago & I'm finding the "touching" aspect a bit difficult. I completely understand why it isn't allowed but making the change all of a sudden with friends of the opposite sex you hug&shake hands with on a daily basis is quite difficult. When Ayatollah Khomeini was living was he considered a mainstream Shia leader? I know there are many Muslims who don't agree with him but what is his standing among the Shia? quran 9 :5 the word used is mushrikun polytheists or idol worshippers in english not of the children of israel unless you class yourself as idolaters but i think you are not far off, Allah knows best but i think the jews are mentioned only once in the whole of chapter 9 in verse number 30

Quran 2:40 O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and be afraid of [only] Me.And believe in what I have sent down confirming that which is [already] with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it.
