Yvonne Fair performed this track as her second song on the original Soul Train TV Show when her album, The Bitch is Black on Motown Records was released. This album is considered rare because it:1) contained her previous Soul Records single; 2) contained the fabulous Betty Wright hit remake "It's So Bad For Me To See You" and 3) was the first Motown album to list The Funk Brothers by name in the credits---something Berry Gordy point blank refused to ever do on any Motown release.
