@LadyAnneBoleyn1536 It bothers me, too! The only explanation I can come up with is that it's supposed to engage the viewers by placing them in the position of the sixth wife, as if they were the ones observed by Henry and the rest of the wives. But I'm not sure it makes much sense.

@celestielsigh I see what you're saying but I don't think King Henry VIII killed 5 of his wives. He had Anne Boleyn and Katherine Howard beheaded. Katherine of Aragon he divorced, Jane Seymour died of natural causes I believe, Anne of Cleves he had their marriage annulled, and Catherine Parr outlived him.
