@xJAMESxTUBBYx Yep..Roadsideimports is right. They do exist. I saw a small one at The Sandwich fair last time I went. It said right on the blade "Made in China" or Taiwan ect.
Mine came in the post today. Pretty much what I expected. Just a lil black stiletto that I can carry or just have for a little while. It won't last forever, but that's ok. When it breaks I'll probably just buy another. Definitely worth the money.
That all depends on how you treat things. Only you know if you mistreat things or have high expectations on things that are inexpensive, because quality does come with a price, but there is a balance that can be reached for money to quality ratio. If you want to go cheap then that is what you get in quality. Mid range is what it is and high price is like a Rolls Royce and depends on your preference. Then how long it lasts goes back to how you behave and how you treat things.
Well i want to spend about 30$ on this mass produced switchblade with acrylic scales and i plan to use it for everyday cuts around the house ,a lil bit of fresh water fishing (in a pond) and just to carry it in my pocket and show off and it and it seems like its mid range since on the site i went to the cheapest ones where 15$ the one i wanted was 30$ and the REAL italian switchblades where 80-160$
@Roadsideimports Well then here's a better question. What is the steel grade of the blade, what are the steel parts made and what is the handle made of..
@Roadsideimports He is absolutely correct. I bought one of these from him and it broke in 2 months. That being said, it was actually pretty good quality for the price I paid, and my rough and frequent use of knives is what brought about such an early demise of my blade. Don't expect to use this for anything more than a flashy toy.
When shipping these knives across state borders, does it send a Red Flag in the USPS to where it is being shipped? Like if the customer isnt "elligable by law" to purchase or possese an OTF or Autoknife, even though they have the absolute best intentions with it. (non violent, just a hobby!) will i get in big trouble or how does that work?
@Roadsideimports Im a dumbass when it comes to switchblades. Thanks. I like it when people actually respond to comments instead of basking in their own glory and blowing off all the people who actually need help.

No today's crap sold to the American with their finger up their ass has planned obsolescence. You bow down to the cheap price and garbage product that is sold.
Welcome to the reality check. I sell a $12 model that bladeplay sells at $29 and are sold out of it. I have models that have stainless steel liners for $24 but you were too cheap for them.
Depends on which model you got. I sell them for $12 and other guys sell them for $25 plus. So don't cry over things that you got for the cheapest price out there. If you didn't want to cry in the first place you should of spent more money, because the bottom line is you get what you pay for.
Would you buy the cheapest hooker at the brothel? Why not?
Then the parts are moving objects so opening and closing them repetitively for no reason does cause them to heat up and fail, common sense.
Hey i have one of these types but my catch lever that holds the blade in place is broke it wont stay pushed down i was wondering if there is any way to fix it?
@Roadsideimports Yea but i dont really get how to like when the blades open if i push and hold the lock it stays lock but if i release it pops back up... any ideas on how to get it to stay down besides replacing mech..
You are talking about the slide lock, that is a common issue even on expensive Italian models, just an old design and tricks to fixing them might be on the knife forums out there.
@ltjosh10 heh heh...Don't look now, but he wrote this music. Also, I like it. Honestly, all I can understand is "you don't love me for who I am," and the ending, starting at "I hope you're happy..."
Iv been looking at a few switchblades I just recently moved to Arizona were apperanly they are compleatly legal (fuck Cali) I was trying to figure out what brand to buy I already know what style I want I just don't know what brand is better iv been told FB is the lowest quality but I just want 1 that won't turn into a piece of crap after about 6 months any1 know a good brand
I disagree with that Frank Beltrame makes good stuff, I think better than Armando and Renzo. It all depends on what model you are after. You buy cheap shit you get cheap shit.
Well, if you have a dealer inside Germany. The chances of them being detected are almost 0%. Like here in USA. Only a few dealers carry illegal knifes. And they some how get a shipment through a different country and ship it through the US without getting caught. This is how I get my knifes.
The safety is pressed metal, they are not perfect that is for sure, even the Italian models are not perfect. They are bent metal and sometimes things don't bend the way they are intended to. On some they are not bent all the way down and cause the safety not to work at all. It is a common flaw on the stiletto
Ya its legal to import and sell them. Im in toronto and theres a knife shop here with floor to cieling auto switchblades. You can own one legally but carrying anything spring loaded could be considered a concealed weapon.
ya its illegal to carry them in canada, but not illegal to own or sell. Theres a knifeshop in port credit mississauga that has them there and he has the law that says that its legal printed out and on display haha
naw man look up your local laws, your within your rights to carry a knife. Im not saying auto or assisted opening but manual ya. its only a concealed weapon if its used as a weapon, and in that case you would be looking at assault with a deadly weapon so the add on of concealed weapon wouldn't really be a concern. Like i said look up the laws so you know your rights
Are you blind??? That is a question. And what i was referring to was actually YOUR stupidity. Your the one who doesn't know if you are blind or not. And maybe you should take a closer look at the website you retarded faggot. You just might notice that they actually DO sell automatic knives. A lot of them. From automatic Italian stilettos to hidden release knives. In fact they sell hundreds of autos. You sir are an idiot.
You really are a dork .That home schooling doesn't work in Africa -- All you learn is to peal bananas and chase chimps.Line I said Roadside sells Autos the store in Toronto I was referring to does not. So go play with a zebra brown boy.
yea i think its jail time for carrying a conceled wepon in public. And its spring assisted so i think that adds to it so yea. Felony = Few months of Jail
in texas those r illegal.... so like if i had 1 and like an authority figure were 2 catch me with it in public will there b like a punishment? someone please answer
If you are not a qualified person and are running around in public with it then you will get the knife seized and if the officer does not like you, you will be going to jail.
These are all imaginary knives, the whole thing that you see from your eyes everyday is an imagination, nothing is real it is all rubber. Rubber walls and straight jacket that is.
I don't know can you? Are you physically able to make such a purchase or are you legally allowed to qualify to make such a purchase because using the word can would suggest that this is what you are implying.
Alright, I need clarification on this. Virginia prohibitis switchblades being sold across the state borders, yet online it says it's legal if purchased through online retail. I understand that qualified individuals as listed on your site are able to purchase them without legal trouble, but I do not fall under any of those conditions.
What my question is, if I purchased a kit, where a Stiletto knife is assembled as a comb, and comes with a blade, can the law get me into trouble for that?
If the state allows you to convert items or allows you to build them then it is fine, some states also ban the construction of them so you'd have to check the correct state statutes that apply and then also remember that city and county laws can be harsher, so the best solution is to simply call your local police and ask them about the knife laws and ask them about building one for collection purposes only, it may not be accurate but you will know what they enforce.
I don't think you understood me I am saying that yes it is illegal but the point is to not get caught therefore it is not illegal because your not getting caught
They are restricted to sell across state lines to qualified persons.
Then inside the state it is up to the state and local laws, some states restrict them only to the qualified persons while others allow everyone to own them some allow them only to own and not carry while others allow carrying them.
The point is your statement is false and not accurate.
It depends on who you are and where you live period.
let me reiterate what I said you can do anything that is illegal as long as you don't get caught I personally don't care what the laws about switchblades are it is illegal where I live yet I still carry one
Not true at all. If you have a permit that is issued by Australian Customs to import the knife, for collection or because you have only use of one hand or whatever reason you apply for and you are granted then it is legal. This is listed right on Australian Customs website.
Sounds like you are just to lazy to do your homework and look things up and take the word of the other guy who did do their homework either.
They were not illegal but have been made illegal, so there are old ones that people have in collections, and if you have new ones then you need a permit from the police department. So they are not entirely illegal you simply need a permit now.
This is only applicable to countries outside the US when shipped, then that issue is easily solved because you simply need not to break the laws. If you are in the US then the question is stupid to begin with because if the police are delivering your mail then you are sadly already in jail.
i heard that you should not have spring assist knives on you in public because the cops won't be able to tell the difference between that and a switchblade and they'll comhiscate it anyway
That is valid comment because cops are humans and do make mistakes and they are allowed to use their own interpretation on things when in the field, if they bring charges or take the item then a simple complaint can be filed and you will get the item returned providing that the county or city doesn't have laws prohibiting them. Just because a state allows them does not mean that counties and cities can't restrict them.
Then you shouldn't be getting questioned by the cops in the first place.
well how long would it take for the cops to figure out that its state legal? and they have the choice whether to give it back or not? Is it true that if a knifes blade is bigger than the palm of your hand it is illegal to carry?
No not everywhere, each state has its own laws, then the county, and then the city. The state law is for everyone but the county and city can have stricter laws if they wish. The rule is if it is bigger than your hand is a general idea and is somewhat true because alot of states have 3.5 and 4 inch laws on knives that are legal to carry. Remember laws are about carrying them. Cops don't have a deadline on figuring out knife laws, they can make a judgment call whenever they want.
hmmm. and switchblades are illegal everywhere in the U.S if its bigger than 2 inches? bladeplay is a bunch of bullshitters, i got a switchblade from them and the button got stuck on the inside of it, they said to mail it back and they;d replace it and that if you are older than 18 you can have one
You need to grow up and learn to read and investigate things. Switchblades are completely legal in all 50 states for law enforcement, military, and one armed persons. Then each state has its own laws. Switchblades are legal in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Utah, Vermont, and Wyoming.
well you'd figure that if its legal in California like that it'd be legal some other places because all the gang violence in there, i did investigate the switchblade laws but for my state it says illegal with exceptions made for collector's and/ or possession as curios or antiques, my mistsake for saying its illegal everywhere
Right see you're a smart guy and understand correction, that is the beginning of a smart and educated person, keep that through life and you'll be much better off then the person who spouts out nonsense all the time.
Then lets address your violence issue, lets make one thing straight knives don't kill people, people kill people. If you think otherwise then pencils misspell words, cars drive people drunk, spoons make people fat, and matches cause arson.
No lets address restriction. When you restrict items to normal law abiding citizens you take away civil liberties from people and make criminals jobs easier. When bands go into effect criminals don't care because they will get what they want no matter what, all the ban does is limit the rights to people who are law abiding from having the ability to defend themselves.
Bans don't work, they simply allow criminals to do their jobs much easier and safer.
When gun bands went into effect in the United Kingdom, violent gun crime rose 40% Armed robbery, home invasions, and attacks all rose.
Why? Because normal people do listen to the law but do you honestly think criminals are going to turn in the guns they have? No it simply makes their jobs easier because now no one is allowed to protect themselves against them.
The bans have also gone into effect in Canada & in Australia and the crime rate has also gone up 40%. It did not make things safer
THANKYOU WITH THE GUN CRIME IN ENGLAND THING! jeeese the ban just stops good peops having guns and makes it easier for gang members to get hold of them, mind u if someone comes into my house i can always shoot a 16 inch kitchen knife out of my crossbow lol
Aye mate I'm British so I know what goes on in my country as well. It is sad that the largest peaceful protest in British History happened last summer about Gun Control and getting it revoked, and it was not covered at all by the US media or anyone else. Crazy because the governments what to keep a lid on the truth. Control does not work period because it simply makes criminals jobs easier. The crossbow is the solution you are correct.
thanks, i can catch on easily to stuff like laws and all that, but you got that right with the people kill people thing, all i would want a weapon for is defending myself, not assaulting people.
Depends no what we are talking about. If we are talking about Stilettos then the Italian models are the best on the market out of those two. The best is a custom built model from a custom US builder.
Import is seizure of the goods that you order that are prohibited imports, they can press charges if they feel fit to do so, first time is seizure and a notice that you were naughty most times and blacklisting your address so you can't be naughty anymore. If you continue to be naughty they press charges you face a fine and jail time.
If you have an auto and decide to be an idiot and walk around and go into public places with it then you go to jail, they seize it, and you pay a nice fine.
How much did you pay for this knife i was planing on trying to buy it, and i was wandering how much you paid for it. PLEASE TELL ME, Thank you

can u fix it ur self or are u prettyy much fucked?
forshizzlemcfizzle 2 years ago
Lots of work to fix it that is for sure, grinding out the rivets and putting it all back together, so much work for a cheap model.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
true. thanks
forshizzlemcfizzle 2 years ago
i just ordered this knife and have one question is the safety suppossed to be a little lopsided on the right side
jay144566 2 years ago
The safety is pressed metal, they are not perfect that is for sure, even the Italian models are not perfect. They are bent metal and sometimes things don't bend the way they are intended to. On some they are not bent all the way down and cause the safety not to work at all. It is a common flaw on the stiletto

yourstupid09 2 years ago
Yes, you can get a permit with the local police to own one.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
Are these legal in Canada?
I mean own but not carry!
simpsonzerox 2 years ago
Ya its legal to import and sell them. Im in toronto and theres a knife shop here with floor to cieling auto switchblades. You can own one legally but carrying anything spring loaded could be considered a concealed weapon.
99pitbulls 2 years ago
where in Toronto, I doubt it and they are Illegal in Canada
vox1003 2 years ago
ya its illegal to carry them in canada, but not illegal to own or sell. Theres a knifeshop in port credit mississauga that has them there and he has the law that says that its legal printed out and on display haha
99pitbulls 2 years ago
you must be high
vox1003 2 years ago
naw man look up your local laws, your within your rights to carry a knife. Im not saying auto or assisted opening but manual ya. its only a concealed weapon if its used as a weapon, and in that case you would be looking at assault with a deadly weapon so the add on of concealed weapon wouldn't really be a concern. Like i said look up the laws so you know your rights
99pitbulls 2 years ago
I visited that store and all he has are spring assist -- no switchblades.
You can get spring assist at any good knife store in Toronto. But an auto you got to know the right people .What a joke.

You sir are an idiot.

heartstopperx44 2 years ago
If you are law enforcement, military, have one are, are a knife dealer, or you just purchased it for your knife collection then it is legal.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
If you are not a qualified person and are running around in public with it then you will get the knife seized and if the officer does not like you, you will be going to jail.

do knifes hurt when you get stabbed by this one?
realworldskates9595 2 years ago
These are all imaginary knives, the whole thing that you see from your eyes everyday is an imagination, nothing is real it is all rubber. Rubber walls and straight jacket that is.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
in that case can i buy three?
realworldskates9595 2 years ago
I don't know can you? Are you physically able to make such a purchase or are you legally allowed to qualify to make such a purchase because using the word can would suggest that this is what you are implying.

I love swithcblades they are awsome. This is probably the best model.
fixdeluxe1 2 years ago
Alright, I need clarification on this. Virginia prohibitis switchblades being sold across the state borders, yet online it says it's legal if purchased through online retail. I understand that qualified individuals as listed on your site are able to purchase them without legal trouble, but I do not fall under any of those conditions.
What my question is, if I purchased a kit, where a Stiletto knife is assembled as a comb, and comes with a blade, can the law get me into trouble for that?
oMattCan2o 2 years ago
If the state allows you to convert items or allows you to build them then it is fine, some states also ban the construction of them so you'd have to check the correct state statutes that apply and then also remember that city and county laws can be harsher, so the best solution is to simply call your local police and ask them about the knife laws and ask them about building one for collection purposes only, it may not be accurate but you will know what they enforce.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
So just to check. Would this be illegal if Im not in armed forces or anything in Indiana?
pickle455 2 years ago
Best thing for you to do is to call the local Police department and ask them about the knife laws.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
it's not illegal if you don't get caught
oldbag222 2 years ago
No it is illegal only if you live in a place where it says it is illegal to carry and you are not a qualified person and you get caught.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
I don't think you understood me I am saying that yes it is illegal but the point is to not get caught therefore it is not illegal because your not getting caught
oldbag222 2 years ago
No you are not listening to my point.
Switchblades are not illegal.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
let me reiterate what I said you can do anything that is illegal as long as you don't get caught I personally don't care what the laws about switchblades are it is illegal where I live yet I still carry one
oldbag222 2 years ago

dont believe it, if they were legal you should be able to buy them in To, but you can't
vox1003 2 years ago
They're illegal but you can still order them :) Never tryed this website tough
HeroinMethod 2 years ago
u need a permit to have them.. they are restricted
doEverythinggood 2 years ago
what permit they are illegal, cops will take them
vox1003 2 years ago
Not true at all. If you have a permit that is issued by Australian Customs to import the knife, for collection or because you have only use of one hand or whatever reason you apply for and you are granted then it is legal. This is listed right on Australian Customs website.
Sounds like you are just to lazy to do your homework and look things up and take the word of the other guy who did do their homework either.
Sad be informed and get educated.

are these illegal in rhode island or any part of new england of the U.S

Yes, it depends on who you are first and foremost. Then it depends on the state laws, then the county and then the city.

I use all my own stuff.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
They were not illegal but have been made illegal, so there are old ones that people have in collections, and if you have new ones then you need a permit from the police department. So they are not entirely illegal you simply need a permit now.
Roadsideimports 3 years ago
This is only applicable to countries outside the US when shipped, then that issue is easily solved because you simply need not to break the laws. If you are in the US then the question is stupid to begin with because if the police are delivering your mail then you are sadly already in jail.
Roadsideimports 3 years ago
i heard that you should not have spring assist knives on you in public because the cops won't be able to tell the difference between that and a switchblade and they'll comhiscate it anyway
jackassdude1500 3 years ago
That is valid comment because cops are humans and do make mistakes and they are allowed to use their own interpretation on things when in the field, if they bring charges or take the item then a simple complaint can be filed and you will get the item returned providing that the county or city doesn't have laws prohibiting them. Just because a state allows them does not mean that counties and cities can't restrict them.
Then you shouldn't be getting questioned by the cops in the first place.
Roadsideimports 3 years ago
well how long would it take for the cops to figure out that its state legal? and they have the choice whether to give it back or not? Is it true that if a knifes blade is bigger than the palm of your hand it is illegal to carry?
jackassdude1500 3 years ago
No not everywhere, each state has its own laws, then the county, and then the city. The state law is for everyone but the county and city can have stricter laws if they wish. The rule is if it is bigger than your hand is a general idea and is somewhat true because alot of states have 3.5 and 4 inch laws on knives that are legal to carry. Remember laws are about carrying them. Cops don't have a deadline on figuring out knife laws, they can make a judgment call whenever they want.
Roadsideimports 3 years ago
hmmm. and switchblades are illegal everywhere in the U.S if its bigger than 2 inches? bladeplay is a bunch of bullshitters, i got a switchblade from them and the button got stuck on the inside of it, they said to mail it back and they;d replace it and that if you are older than 18 you can have one
jackassdude1500 3 years ago
You need to grow up and learn to read and investigate things. Switchblades are completely legal in all 50 states for law enforcement, military, and one armed persons. Then each state has its own laws. Switchblades are legal in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Utah, Vermont, and Wyoming.
Only California has the 2 inch law.
Roadsideimports 3 years ago
well you'd figure that if its legal in California like that it'd be legal some other places because all the gang violence in there, i did investigate the switchblade laws but for my state it says illegal with exceptions made for collector's and/ or possession as curios or antiques, my mistsake for saying its illegal everywhere
jackassdude1500 3 years ago
Right see you're a smart guy and understand correction, that is the beginning of a smart and educated person, keep that through life and you'll be much better off then the person who spouts out nonsense all the time.
Then lets address your violence issue, lets make one thing straight knives don't kill people, people kill people. If you think otherwise then pencils misspell words, cars drive people drunk, spoons make people fat, and matches cause arson.
Roadsideimports 3 years ago
No lets address restriction. When you restrict items to normal law abiding citizens you take away civil liberties from people and make criminals jobs easier. When bands go into effect criminals don't care because they will get what they want no matter what, all the ban does is limit the rights to people who are law abiding from having the ability to defend themselves.
Bans don't work, they simply allow criminals to do their jobs much easier and safer.
Roadsideimports 3 years ago
When gun bands went into effect in the United Kingdom, violent gun crime rose 40% Armed robbery, home invasions, and attacks all rose.
Why? Because normal people do listen to the law but do you honestly think criminals are going to turn in the guns they have? No it simply makes their jobs easier because now no one is allowed to protect themselves against them.
The bans have also gone into effect in Canada & in Australia and the crime rate has also gone up 40%. It did not make things safer
Roadsideimports 3 years ago
THANKYOU WITH THE GUN CRIME IN ENGLAND THING! jeeese the ban just stops good peops having guns and makes it easier for gang members to get hold of them, mind u if someone comes into my house i can always shoot a 16 inch kitchen knife out of my crossbow lol
djdan151 3 years ago
Aye mate I'm British so I know what goes on in my country as well. It is sad that the largest peaceful protest in British History happened last summer about Gun Control and getting it revoked, and it was not covered at all by the US media or anyone else. Crazy because the governments what to keep a lid on the truth. Control does not work period because it simply makes criminals jobs easier. The crossbow is the solution you are correct.
Roadsideimports 3 years ago
i love the 2nd amendment
TheViice 3 years ago
thanks, i can catch on easily to stuff like laws and all that, but you got that right with the people kill people thing, all i would want a weapon for is defending myself, not assaulting people.
jackassdude1500 3 years ago
Right it is sad that alot of people trade liberty for security and then they end up with neither.
Roadsideimports 3 years ago
yes, in your opinion what is better? knives made in Italy or made in Taiwan
jackassdude1500 3 years ago
Depends no what we are talking about. If we are talking about Stilettos then the Italian models are the best on the market out of those two. The best is a custom built model from a custom US builder.
Roadsideimports 3 years ago
yeah thanks

c0ldfr33z3r 3 years ago
Import is seizure of the goods that you order that are prohibited imports, they can press charges if they feel fit to do so, first time is seizure and a notice that you were naughty most times and blacklisting your address so you can't be naughty anymore. If you continue to be naughty they press charges you face a fine and jail time.
If you have an auto and decide to be an idiot and walk around and go into public places with it then you go to jail, they seize it, and you pay a nice fine.
Roadsideimports 3 years ago
California has the 2 inch law not Canada. You ultimately are responsible to adhere to all applicable laws yourself.
