@HVAEUHV Because it was a popular story in the pre-internet years in Brazil, people did not have access to the internet, therefore an urban legend emerged. No one knows how, but from what I remembered, the guy presenting the game made that comment during the game. That is why there is a question mark there, a reference to an urban legend. The description says that the man is alive and gives a link to a longer text about how many kids believed for years that the man was dead.
