No, since it does not have silicone that goes over the ear piece you don't have to stretch the bottom, just the top part over so there isn't any stress on the silicone.

the teal one is the old style for the button. the new one, as you were saying, hase the "nub"

I find the teal on easier I find it harder to press the button with the nubb one.

I like the one on the brown case. It has the little nub and makes it easier to push the home button. What I don't know though is if the brown case has the new or the old button style.
