  • I do not like noodle pudding. I love puddings but noodle pudding is a big no for my case.

  • @geraldinebacalso I agree! This shows up every year on the Thanksgiving table and the people who bring it always claimed it was a classic Jewish dish. I refused to believe it as it seemed more in line with the "tater-tot casserole" that my friend's mother used to make when I was a wee lad. Nevertheless, this video exists so it sadly must be legitimate.

  • Given the loaf pan, after he tempered the eggs and formed a thickened custard he would have added the starches. Let it soak up. Butter the loaf pan, put in the custard mix and bake. I'm guessing about an hour at 300 or 350. Should still be a bit wet in the middle, let it set when you take it out and let it rest.

    Dried fruit when the starches are soaking up liquid would be good, as would a shot of rum or brandy.
