  • abandoned?

  • Thanks!

It's located just south of Lewisburg on Rt 15.

  • wow did not know this existed

  • Right, about a mile and a half more.

  • So if you do get the bridge you will have a longer railroad?

  • The Station is located in White Deer Pa. Center of Pa. just an hour and 10 minutes north of Harrisburg. This was a part of the Catawissa Branch that ran all the way up to Williamsport Pa. The track is taken out just north of the station in Allenwood. Our bridge was removed because of the 72 Agnus flood. There is a washout up the line a short bit from the station. That track is owned by Seda-Cog joint Rail authority. Currently, we are landlocked. There is basically no hope of our bridge to go in.

  • Very nice Photo Spread. Where is this place located? and which branch of the Reading was it?

    John
