Which materials are not based on history and fact. Well, for starters, the claim that Tibet has always been part of China. Wouldn't you say that is something of a tumbling block? Are you suggesting that China did not invade and illegally occupy Tibet in 1950? How about China's continual denial of the human rights violations that have been carried out ever since and still are for that matter? What about the "cultural genocide" that is happening? The squeeze on Tibetan businesses? etc, etc, etc...

It's possible I'm not as informed as you. I don't know you afterall. You tell me then, which developing country has the US actually helped then? And by helped, I mean, the majority of the population, not a few people running the country who they have made very rich. What about Panama? Ecuador? Peru? The list goes on and that's just S America. Shall we move onto Asia? Or the Middle East for that matter? It's great that you're getting involved and thinking about the whole issue, that's a start.

Japan, Germany, Western Europe after WWII, South Korea after that conflict (compare with North Korea). While those countries were not (with the exception of Korea) "developing" they were certainly in no position to help themselves after those wars. The USA is not all bad. We try to help others. But every country looks out for its own best interests, as it sees them. To be sure, we have been wrong (such as in Iran before the revolution), but so has every other country.

The US made millions out of WW2. And with regard to the rebuilding process that the US assisted with, that was with loans from the US which in the case of the UK, were finished being repaid (with interest of course) only last year. I don't accept for a second your statement that the US tries to help others. They have no interest in helping, only making money off other countries and in many cases leaving them far worse off than they were beforehand. They are not alone, but they are the worst.
