  • @RetromercialMemories The Bee Gees went out of style in mid to late 1979 as Disco began to fade. Frampton, I have to admit, was due to this though.

  • @BestMusicExpert how can you say that about my Bee Gee's !!

  • I love the disco-ey drums.

  • Their other version of the son in the movie All This And World War II was horrible they also did She Came In Through the Bathroom Window in it. This one is GREAT love it!!!!!

  • PETER FRAMPTON IS GREAT SONGER

  • This part of the movie makes me cry like a baby (every freaking time). Their rendition always had some strange, overpowering affect on me.

  • This is the greatest Musical Movie ever made!

  • I never knew the BeeGees recorded the Abbey Road medley. Actually, they did it in seperate parts, but they did almost the entire thing in the long run. Oh, They were some incredible brothers.

    R.I.P. Maurice

  • was it really a flop? back then my classmates and i in high school watched this four times! we just loved the movie...oh well... if it was really a flop, we had a great time and up to now i still love the songs. i even have the album of this.

  • @1023patricia Do you know where I can get the album to this?

  • @13RAC13 Every dollar LP bin, ever. I'm not kidding, it's VERY easy to find a copy of this. Check Amazon if you want the CD.

  • @1023patricia I have the album also. I went so far as to listen to the lyrics and type them all up. I still have it. Love this movie

  • I was 8 when I saw the movie in theaters. The music from the film would later get me hooked into the music of The Beatles, but I never could unerstand why this film got dissed by so many people, including the stars of the movie. But since "Across The Universe" came out, I have new respect for this film. It is a classic.

  • I loved the movie and the songs...there was nothing to not like about it imo.

  • the movie was a total distasaster.I agree. But the soundtrack its a great rendition. George Martin is an amazing music producer and Director , Musicians like Jeff Beck,David Paich,Jeff Porcaro,Larry Carlton,Bernand Purdie,David Hungate was played in this Soundtrack

  • @Mr99mx What are you talkin bout. The movie was GREAT!

  • @Mr99mx And don´t forget the amazing bassplayer: WILBUR BASCOMB. I totally love his quick moves over the 4 string Fender bass. I fell of my chair when I heard Sandy Farinas Heres Come The Sun for the first time. Wilbur does a basswork that not many bassplayer can do today...

  • @p214lal You're right that's a fantastic version.the bass sounds so amazing, really ...anyone who wants to be a bass player should listen that track

  • @Mr99mx agreed 1000%. soundtrack was doing very well (top 5 billboard for over 6weeks) but when film was released it tanked both of them. soundtrack does have some great covers to it's credit!

  • I think they( Peter Frampton did a great job of covering the Beatles). And The Bee Gees Too. I know that th movie was a flop, but I loved it just the same.

  • It isn't very often that people can cover a Beatles song successfully, Cocker could do it, so can Frampton and the Brothers Gibb. Alice Cooper could not, and he looks very strange with a mustache

  • this really shows how awesome georges lead was, this frampton solo sucks ass.

  • awesome song great job by the bee gees. I usually hate when people cover the beatles but this is an exception. Great movie too

  • @basketballed25 Every song in the moivie was a Beatles song. None of it sounds like a cheap cover. I like the versions in the movie better than the Beatles'. Of course I never cared much for the Beatles.
