saw this band in the Welcome to Venice! tour at Ruthie's in around '86. the doorman had a 357 in his waist and the place was full of venice punks and one big buff skinhead on PCP who was punching everyone. one of the most violent and intimidating pits i've ever seen. we had a great time though. Excel was one of the highlights of that show.
