  • Ooooh, he's got so little, cute hands, and he plays it better than me :D

  • My goodness. It makes me impressed these young boys and girls play the piano so well! I'm learning how to play this song and I'm ten years older than you!

  • chopin wrote this age 7

  • I myself have just learned Sonata K545 and im starting Inventions 13 and 14 and the polonaise. Except im 15 years old. This kids a beast!!

  • Not bad for a 5 years. Good.

  • This is remarkable I love it!

  • So young, from here we could expect he is so good.

  • Good Job!

  • bardzo słabo oo

  • a ty tak potrafisz?

tomyk400 said in polish: very bad.

  • duzo lepiej

  • too slow, bud i'm ipressed.

  • is there a tutorial on this song

  • Don't use tutorials for classical music, especially not Chopin.

  • SLOW

  • great talent here.

It's hard to imagine Chopin actually wrote something like this at age 7 =/

  • chopin had more talent in his little finger than all these pianists old or young, proffesional or amateur they are just clones-DON'T FORGET IT!!

  • chill dude, it was an exaggeration.

  • I TOTALLY AGREE!!!!!!!

  • 1.You memorize the piece.

    2. WHAT DID YOU SAY?!?!?!?! CHOPIN IS 100 TIMES BETTER THAN THIS KID!!!! LET ME SEE HIM COMPOSE SOMETHING LIKE THIS AT HIS AGE!!!! DON'T YOU EVER SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

  • please look up the word "exaggeration" in the dictionary.

  • nevermind, I found it for you. --verb (used with object)

    1. to magnify beyond the limits of truth; overstate; represent disproportionately: to exaggerate the difficulties of a situation.

See? I didn't really MEAN it.

  • Actually Chopin did compose this at age seven.

  • pretty good for a 5 year old, but you have to work on it.your 8th notes are too short, pedal it just a little. there's many other mistakes, i don't have time for all of them. bye.

  • Please click on the video responses for an updated better/more musical version!

BTW, he started playing in late 2004, so he played for well over 2 years. He used metronome sparingly.

  • Wow!!!

    I'm impressed!!!

  • How long has he played???

He is amazing for so young!!!

  • Oh lord. This is killer! I'm learning this song and I don't really like it but WOW he makes me want to learn it now :) When is his birthday?

  • Great! Your Son is cool man!!

  • make him play til he's 18. then he'll be like lang lang or something ;)

  • does he use metronome?

  • O.o a 5 year old! wth! im 14 and im just starting to learn that song! (by myself without the help of my piano teacher)im impressed!

  • i am shocked! 6 yrs! i'm 14 and ive been playin for longer than he has lived! im just learning this song rite now!

  • Cool! Here is someone who can play Chopin at five!

  • I still can't play this.

  • Your son is amazing! I'm 15 now and I remember struggling so hard to learn this piece! Has he entered any competitions?

  • Due to his age, he only participated in one formal competition (multi-state) so far. He's the youngest participant for the entire competition, so naturally he didn't get the top prize (most kids in his group were 3 years older). But we were delighted and proud that he got a 3rd place prize.

  • which polonaise is it, like wat number

  • B.1 or Br.1.

  • If he still likes playing when he's older, he'll be amazing, This is really good! ^__^

  • very good for such a small little gapper ^_^ keep it up!

  • Chopin composed this when he was 7. It was his first composition.

  • Yeah, we tell our son this when he feels too good about playing Chopin at 5. :) Chopin's a real genius, and the maturity of the piece's just astounding for a 7-year old (compare to Mozart's first pieces). I'm surprised that he didn't compose less mature pieces (or they all got lost? But Mozart's were fine).

  • Coffetea, I don't really think the kid needs advice from anyone who posts here... a remarkable talent, very well cultivated so far, you can be proud.

  • Thanks for your compliments! We just hope that he keeps improving.

  • wow, it's really impressive. first time seeing such a young kid playing a chopin piece. excellent job! keep it up!

  • If your son is already playing like this at 6, he can easily be very good technically in the future.just remember, romantic things are not always the good way to learn precision, regularity, rythm..he'll have to go through bach and beethoven to play chopin=)he sure has to keep going to music school cause it's good, keep rollin'=]

  • Thanks! Indeed he needs to be precise. He is playing some Bach, not so much Beethoven (one sonatina once) yet.
