Try to listen to Where Is Love he sang on January 8, 2011 (the final performance of Oliver! at The Theatre Royal Drury Lane) or his rendition of Electricity in Welsh at The National Eisteddfod of Wales - both are on YouTube (and quite easy to find if you write the right words into the search box) - and say what you think.

I never noticed Laurence during the beginning of the show but he has really stood out for me in recent weeks - his 'Where Is Love?' was amazing so I'm glad he's through. Harry deserves it, but not the other 2. How Chester didn't get it, I will never know. Alex, Johnny and Kwayadze are better than the other 2 too. Although Johnny wasn't vocally strong enough, he looked the best actor. Kwayedze probably had the best voice but a bit to 'soul' like.
Since when was Oliver Welsh? Gwion's good, but he speaks and sings in his Welsh accent. Laurence is just very poor.

Yes this is true, I think that Kwayedze would be well suited for something like The Lion King. Maybe the other have that something 'special'
The chances are they will have a voice coach, they do it most things, the Australian Billy Elliots can do quite good jordy accents so therse no reason why Gwion couldn't do a good posh london one.
The Olivers are far from being crap. They have till December (i think) to improve so lets hope they do.
I know people have loads of different views but I do think Chester should have got through to the final three. He was better than most of them put together.
Really bad decision. I cant see Gwion being Oliver. You cant understand some of the things he says. Yes Laurence and Harry are good but Harry looks crooked when he sings and he has already been in Roman Mysteries on CBBC and Mary Poppins.. Thats not fair on the others! And Laurence looks up to the sky sometimes when he sings. He sings well but not as Oliver. Jonny Chester and Kwayedza should have got it! So amazing are those 3! :D

Personally i think they chose they "wrong" olivers apart from gwion all the boys are gunna be stars. but i really think that it should have been chester and jonny too. they have the vunerability look which is perect for an orphan and i cant see that in harry and laurence
i think it was chesters acting ability that let him down because they never seemed to praise him and jonny's lack of expression but it was his simplicity that made him so special

Chester has always been my fave since he blew me away with pie jesu, he has oodles of STAR QUALITY, a lovely angelic voice with this pure high range, amazing actor can tell a story, has stage presence- am always drawn to him in group numbers, is an excellent dancer, looks the part and has the aww factor really cute and seems like a really sweet person, I think the only reason he didn't make it is because of his nerves he sounded so nervous in 'where is love' cameron was prob worried about him
i'm happy about gwion winning but i really wanted alex and jonny to win :( but gd luck to laurence and harry. camerons right, they all deserve to be on the west end.
Guys, we don't know until we see the show, don't start saying the choices are bad! These guys are like 11 - 13! Don't be so mean to them! Be happy that they are going to star in one of the most loved musicals! And the others will all get something later on in their careers, they are young so they have time to mature and get better!
I was really upset at the choices. My final Olivers were Gwion, Chester and Alex/Laurence, so I'm glad Gwion and Laurence got through but I think Chester and Alex deserved it more than Harry, Chester especially shined for me every week.

Harry deserves it, but not the other 2. How Chester didn't get it, I will never know. Alex, Johnny and Kwayadze are better than the other 2 too. Although Johnny wasn't vocally strong enough, he looked the best actor. Kwayedze probably had the best voice but a bit to 'soul' like.
Since when was Oliver Welsh? Gwion's good, but he speaks and sings in his Welsh accent. Laurence is just very poor.
So 3 crap Olivers, 1 un-unique Nancy - worst ever Oliver production?

Yes this is true, I think that Kwayedze would be well suited for something like The Lion King. Maybe the other have that something 'special'
The chances are they will have a voice coach, they do it most things, the Australian Billy Elliots can do quite good jordy accents so therse no reason why Gwion couldn't do a good posh london one.
The Olivers are far from being crap. They have till December (i think) to improve so lets hope they do.

Really bad decision. I cant see Gwion being Oliver. You cant understand some of the things he says. Yes Laurence and Harry are good but Harry looks crooked when he sings and he has already been in Roman Mysteries on CBBC and Mary Poppins.. Thats not fair on the others! And Laurence looks up to the sky sometimes when he sings. He sings well but not as Oliver. Jonny Chester and Kwayedza should have got it! So amazing are those 3! :D

Every single one of those Olivers has improved so much over the course of the series, I feel like a proud parent!! I especially thought Arthur got better all the time.
I'm thrilled that Gwion got through, happy with Harry and Laurence too. Can't wait to see it!
Also, what's this about Chester in Les Mis? Apart from Gwion, he was my favourite and it would be great to see him in something else, he has a beautiful voice!

Personally i think they chose they "wrong" olivers apart from gwion all the boys are gunna be stars. but i really think that it should have been chester and jonny too. they have the vunerability look which is perect for an orphan and i cant see that in harry and laurence
i think it was chesters acting ability that let him down because they never seemed to praise him and jonny's lack of expression but it was his simplicity that made him so special

yeh people may think this is the wrong decision but cameron knows what he his looking for we only see them for about 20 minutes each week they have worked with the boys for about 3 months now! they werent my favourite well i loved harry but to be honest there little boys and people should be happy for them not saying i am so sad! what if there familys read these .. its not very nice is it because they are all brilliant

Chester has always been my fave since he blew me away with pie jesu, he has oodles of STAR QUALITY, a lovely angelic voice with this pure high range, amazing actor can tell a story, has stage presence- am always drawn to him in group numbers, is an excellent dancer, looks the part and has the aww factor really cute and seems like a really sweet person, I think the only reason he didn't make it is because of his nerves he sounded so nervous in 'where is love' cameron was prob worried about him

Guys, we don't know until we see the show, don't start saying the choices are bad! These guys are like 11 - 13! Don't be so mean to them! Be happy that they are going to star in one of the most loved musicals! And the others will all get something later on in their careers, they are young so they have time to mature and get better!

I was really upset at the choices. My final Olivers were Gwion, Chester and Alex/Laurence, so I'm glad Gwion and Laurence got through but I think Chester and Alex deserved it more than Harry, Chester especially shined for me every week.

I know the olivers weren't up for voting like the nancy's but i think the final ones should have been.
even if it was a poll online or something that way the public would get the ones they want rather than who andrew and the others want.
