Switched to mac and running more software simultaneously, working and transporting files between the programs easier, and getting the work done for my clients quicker. I gave PC a chance for a long time.

I mean i honestly can't find much of a difference between them, except as i mentioned before the higher price, as long as you get a good, processor and lots of ram, and most importantly a GOOD video card your PC shouldn't freeze, and of course maintain it. Check your old PC's video card according to what you described it sounds like your problem, but i guess it's too late :P

@mustard286 No worries. I had a Sony Vaio which I really liked. Took it to a couple people to have it checked (respectable, knowledgable people) and they replaced a couple things only to find it still froze. It would later start overheating as well (this would especially effect video/audio). Not sure why...we checked everything. Another thing I like about mac is its easier to navigate settings menus/controls and no defragmenting. Just a preference.

You don't have to do anything to play a game on a mac, You insert the disk, drag the game to applications & play. Take about 2 minutes in all. A lot faster than installing on a windows computer.
