  • quem veio escutar essa bosta, pora causa da capa mal feita do vinil, da um joinha aeh

  • FAKE, listen to Petite Fleur.

  • ca fait peur en tabarnak cette chanson-là

  • I'm not convinced...

I don't doubt the sincerity of the youtouber who posted the video - I have found a few tracks on the Net that are credited to Maddy Genets and they are WEIRD. But... some have drum synth sounds that seem too modern for the 60s Maddy Genet album above.

I wonder if some electronica group saw the weird looking album cover and took the name for themselves?

There is another vid on youtube with much more conventional singing and playing. I bet that is the real Maddy Genets.

  • Yes - very Throbbing Gristle. I was thinking Suicide or maybe The Swans. Seriously, is this music track really them, or a fake?

  • Great!

  • Fantastic! Very bold to make something so different back in the day.

  • after i saw the album cover, the last thing i was expecting was for them to sound like Throbbing Gristle

  • Mmh... I think it is fake. Where is this song from really?

  • i dont hear any accordian

  • the mother must be on percussion? it's wonderful :)

  • CZAJA, I researched them as much as possible and posted my findings here. Just page down until you see the video:

  • I was looking for some info about this band, but I found nothing. Anyone know something more about Maddy Genets? How old is this song?

  • kind of scary =)

  • SATAN!!!!!! LOL ;)

  • They were from France. They were an all blind family music group. This was the only song I could find from the group. Yes, they were bizarre.

  • :O WTF!!

    where are from?

  • It's a Maddy Genets song. The father played a synthesizer, son played accordian. The mother, I'm not sure. They were all blind, and they were one of the first bands to experiment with electronic music. Very bizarre.

  • @ellupine69 the mother was singing watch?v=Yj9hq2uZBF

  • but what is this song Really? Its really cool even if its not Maddy, Im just curious.
