a couple of things, on a recent trip along the 210 noticed that the rails were pulled up (right around Santa anita) when did this happen? hard to believe that use to be one of the main line on the Santa Fe. Now it seems it's only designated for metrolink and local freights
@Railfan108 "why do the gates go down so freaking ealry, 1:13 seconds b4 the train reaches the crossing" I live on this line, and that's nothing. I have seen them go down a full 10 minutes early and after the train passes they go up and come right back down for another 5 minutes. I have called the number on the crossing to report problems multiple times, and I have been told that "as long as the arms are down when the train is crossing it is functioning as designed"!
Sounds like that boxcar has a flat spot on his wheel. Like the video as usual.
