Without him there is no life. I'm not saying he is the literal God but God spoke through him. When he said "God and I are one" he meant the Lord's spirit spoke through him. He went back to being God's Son. We were dumped off in the *Path* at birth. He is the Lantern for the darkened forked road to Home
This was so moving and what a part to play, it was very very well acted, and didn't look like acting. I was very impressed and this is an excellent portrayal.It was Robert Powell I think.
The best, most touching,, and profoundly literate of all the film versions of the Life Of Jesus. Absolutely brilliant. It always inspires and moves me. Thank You for sharing this.

Robert Powell was truely captivating in this roll and the supporting cast most notable James Mason and Lawrence Olivie and Ann Bankroft were amazing. Oh and the score...just beautiful. It is a tradition in our home, to watch Jesus of Nazareth every Easter. Peace. : )
I agree with you plumsink , This miniseries touched my heart too , Greater love has no man than this ,that a man lay down his life for a friend , If you love one another all men will know you are my disciples , I ask Jesus how much do you love me and he said this much and he strecthed out his arms and died .
