I have lived quite a lot of my time at the Murphy and was reminded of some of the best of times spent there. Thank you to all who participated and created those memories!
How sentimental a journey thru' this landmark of my childhood, which I thought was exclusively mine and my closest friends! An epiphany to realize others were touched deeply by the Murphy Theater in Wilmington, too. I left Wilm, visiting years later after a modicum of success as an author and a film made about me. I visited the Murphy with a friend, and as we stood inside red and gold luxurious interior beneath glittering chandeliers, I felt, saw my life flutter through time.
I was been in the Murphy's annuel Christmas show in 2006 and 2007. I am in the annuel Christmas show this year too. :) I LOVE THE MURPHY THEATER!!!
