  • this not rockabilly somethig else like punk hard-rock ... eddie come back!!! we need you !

  • "...great sax and guitar interchange stuck beautifully in the middle. Short and sweet and hard to beat."

    - Legendary Master Series #4

  • @gangerollo no sax on this one

  • @The170460 I hate being wrong, or in this case it was/is liner notes by Lenny Kaye I referred to, but forwarded, so I'm guilty here. As I live in a world of realities, I have to admit, listening to this gem....that you are absolutely right. Hmmm, I guess I have been in an illusion for years about a sax here. Wonder how it comes? I never make any mistakes! LOL... But I have made much worse mistakes, though one have to "kill ones darlings". That's a very important lesson learnt. Thanks!

  • @gangerollo Eddie had recorded an alternate of this one included one sax part. But the acetate was found in the eddie cochran estate 5 or 6 years ago not before. I think you can find it on you tube or send me a mail and i enclosed the mp3 of the alternate.

  • @The170460 I know about that take/version w/sax. I have it saved on either of my gangerollo or my bellgardens53 channel. Sad to say, the alt is not as good, far from it, vs this complete master.

  • @gangerollo there's also another one without electric guitar overdub and drums overdubs.

  • @The170460 Hmmm, maybe I have missed that one. Somtimes I forget all alt takes coming to some artists. But you send it if you have it. If you want to, send me an pm and I give you my personal email address. Take care and don't let the strings rattle.

  • the world desperatly needs entertainment like this, asking a lot but always hoping,R>I>P Eddie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My hero... a true rock n' roll legend. He inspired so many and died way way too young. Love this track and love Eddie

  • for me ...the best song from eddy

  • @lambemos2 "Best song" from Eddie? That's tough to rate since there was such amazing stuff coming from him! It's like having all these gold pieces from Fort Knox and trying to rate them! I cannot understand why he wasn't so popular in in U.S. I read where he was a smash in the U.K. (I would have only been 8 when he died).

  • @bumblebeemoi . i said....for me ..... for you it's your probleme .....i'm not american , i'm portuguese...so ..for me i'ts a good music

  • @lambemos2 I am not criticizing your choice. I am only saying that he has so many great songs that it is hard to choose a best one. A te lago!

  • You may keep that Elviscreature! Eddie Cochran KING OF ROCK AND ROLL!

  • Im about to have a nervous breakdown,

My head really hurts...oh wait, im typing the black flag song

Both songs, and artists are great.

  • @JimmyDFFDBorneo Yea I know man, rockabilly and punk a great make a good mix too

  • This song decribes my life right now.

  • Elvis was already the King when Eddie came on the scene....mid to late 50s.

  • i love this very very cool

  • This was a stunner visually. When Eddie

sang, "See my hands how they shiver, see my

knees how they quiver", he acted it out as if

he were a nervous wreck. It was great to watch!

Live concert, Williston, ND, Oct. 1959, National Guard Armory.

  • R.I.P.

Disc Jockey, Freeman Hover, Emcee of

    that concert.

  • this guy was so so good!

  • elvis does have some credit ...as a performer and playing guitar with no chords...a true artist like eddie its an whole different storie....too bad he died young, imagine what he could have created

  • Eddie was the King before Elvis and would have conquered the Rock and Roll world had he lived.

  • To bad there isnt talent like this in todays world

  • 10-4 on that dude. Eddie was the true spirit of rock!

  • Man. Yer know what? There IS talent. What's lacking is SPIRIT! Subtle huh?

  • classic :) eddie rocks

  • The Word as we know it wouldn't exist without him! Bless his soul!

  • eddie I remember the times where have they gone the street scene in america today suck! rock on james dean johnny suede

  • im 29 but i luv rock n roll. my dad got me into it then i took it from there. he luvs this 1. so do i.

  • can't believe this wasn't a hit, heard it for the first time

  • Eddie's american label, Liberty Records, never released the song in the States. It wasn't released until 1961 in the UK. Eddie died in a car accident in England Easter Sunday 1960. Some of Eddie's great rock stuff came to light post-humously, eg "My Way", which wasn't released until 1964 in England.

  • thats general knowledge

  • Eddie is also the ultimate '50s rockn'roll icon. The angelic punk.

  • No one's more rock'n'roll than Eddie!!

  • i agree

  • Hot Dawg great!

"...went to see a doctor just the other day I'm about to tell you what the man had to say...Eddie boy you just gotta slow down You can't-a-keep a-traipsin' all over town..."

    Take care/Roland
