You're saving 20% assuming the manufacturer weighed that bag incorrectly @ 1lb. At my local publix the pre-packaged goods are the same price per weight to loose, but they are weighed accurately. I was told by a produce manager that you can break packages and buy individually. Usually if I buy in bulk most of it will go bad.
Pre bagged? No thanks. I'd rather spend a few extra cents on loose carrots and spare the environment the NASTY plastic.
