The only thing that Console version have or PC versions of Res 5 is that there's not as much screen tearing.

It DID cost ten times much as an xbox or PS3. I'm not rich or anything, It's just that to me it's worth it. Plus, with a computer you can tons of things a Xbox 360 or PS3 can't do. Also, if you consider the peripherals that you have to buy for consoles, it comes pretty damn close in the end.

It depends on what you like to do. A HD projector is just WIN if you watch movies and play some nice games (racing games with racing wheel anyone?). I personally spend more time on my computer then on my tv. There's much more to do on a computer + free games

I dunno but you should, I did run the benchmark @ highest settings with 4xaa at 1680x1050 and it ran just fine. Dunno about the full game though!
