can you make the textures transparent somehow? And that way, keep the yellow colour of your bunny, but transparent textures over it? Not completely transparent, but a bit visable, so it adds the effect?
From an Art Direction point of view, you need to use details like textures and shading SPARINGLY. There tends to be a desire to use these embellishments to compensate for weaknesses in drawings. Beware of using these features as a crutch since they can result in stylistic contradictions, especially on cartoon drawings that are more graphic design in nature and not naturalistic.

Your name is Lourdes? Si? I know a girl from Venezuela whose beautiful accent sounds like yours. She also pronounces "colour" as "cooler". I love that. Are you from Venezuela?
Definitely! Just make sure to make each part of your character a movie clip symbol, and then with each movie clip symbol selected go to the Properties window and add the Adjust Color filter. Then play with the Hue slider. This is just one way to do it, as there are other ways too.

You should add a yellow alpha effect to make the rabbit look yellow and textured at the same time

One question, is it possible to shade characters insted of texturing them?
nexus000111 2 years ago
Yes, I am creating a tutorial about shading. There are different ways to shade characters in Flash... this will be one of them ;)

Excellent tutorial, crisp and clean. As it goes I was wondering how to add textures, thank you. ;-)

Is it posible to ad color to that texture, let's say making a pink bunny with that texture?
