@themita Pretty sure you can't get it to disappear, unless you hack/jailbreak your iPhone, then you may be able to.

@Rstraderftw APN=Access Point Name, it is just some settings you may need to type in from your mobile phone network. The Internet, Safari is preinstalled. You will only get the 3G logo if you have 3G reception in your area.
