Hi. I use CB and several others. I have a few niches and I'm an seo guy. IMO CB vendors pay high commissions because most r just looking to collect email addresses and build that list to sell you again and again. The initial sale is not the goal. Also, when all they show is THEIR stats FROM CB how well they are doing. Showing stats like $4k one day, it's mostly sales of the product (s) they have up on CB and not what their "system" is actually doing selling other products. Just my opinion.

I've browsed the stuff on Click Bank, and just TBH, I'm not sure if I could sell an ebook to someone. But more power to those who can, that's a skill that will server them well. One thing I'm starting to learn though, is that it's a good idea to sign up with multiple affiliate sites and create multiple streams of income. :)
@GetGiftsForOffers Yes, I have multiple sites and use multiple affiliate programs. CB only makes up about 10% of my income (if that). But you would be surprised at what you could do. The reason I think I do so well with CB is that I don't sell. I write an honest review (the good and the bad) and link to the book @ the end of the article. That way people don't feel as if they are being sold to. It's just an article reviewing a relevant product. The key is actually NOT to sell.
I don't understand why people are so upset about Clickbank. I love there service and it is very possible to make money with them. I get checks every 2 weeks form them. I am not making much but it is nice to make a few extra bucks. Thanks for the video.
@FLIPSIDELIFE I don't understand the negative comments either. I think it's because people have probably bought some of those "get rich quick schemes" that people SELL on Clickbank so they confuse that with what I'm talking about. No doubt there are some shady products being sold on CB but I don't promote anything shady. I refer credible ebooks relevant to my niche & earn a commission as an affiliate. So I think there's a big disconnect here with some people. IMO
Making money seems like it would be easy enough to do but I find that consistently doing is the hard part. I think many times people give you a way to make money once but don't give you a replicable system to continuesley make money. This video is definitley some insight for me on moving forward.

What kills me is that all you people think you can make money with no effort. I use about 20 different affiliates with 12 websites. I make about 5-8 grand a month. But it didn't happen over night. Nor did it happen with no effort. I've put countless hours of work and research to get where I am. But I have done it in about a year. So it can be done but you have to want it and you have to want to put in the work. If your lazy than Im sorry you can keep searching for the next get rich scheme.
Getting into the top 3 google rankings with a page that gets people to click through to the sales page... tough slough! Learning about clickbank is great, but there's so much more to know to get to money-making!
I like the fact that you incorporate a work ethics in your video... You definitely have some quality stuff. And yes I noticed on clickbank there was a bunch of nonsense books as well...
I've been told that if you want to do an honest review, most times the author of the product will give you a review copy for free for affiliates...just contact them.

I have to tell you that I tried ClickBank and it definately does not work. I haven't make any sales and wasn't making any money as promised I would. I have to tell you that it's impossible to make an overnight fortune online which is what everybody wants. It's just not possible. I would advise to abstain from advertising online about making money or how easy it is. It's never easy to make money online. That's the real world.
@dmana3172 Completely agree that it is hard, but it does work. I think the problem is there is so much hype and focus on the "making money" part that people (not you, just in general) don't focus enough on building a useful website FIRST. Once you actually have a site getting thousands of visitors per day from your content, making money is actually easy. The hard part is getting to that point and I think people get frustrated because it does take time to get there.
you don't make money with CB!.. don't fall for their trap!.. they will pay you for a bit then start showing the returns from your account while they keep the profit.

Well said! I couldn't agree more. I've seen a lot of bad business models. And some really bad sites pushing eBooks and CB products. I do buy products from time to time on CB, but often if I feel the seller directing me there was shady, I will usually find another seller to give the credit to instead, or I just buy it from CB without giving anyone credit. There is no need to reward bad marketing when it's something I'm already going to buy anyhow. Right?

Just discovered your channel Lisa, & I'm making my way through your ClickBank vids. You're right about there being a lot of crap on clickbank. In fact, some of the top sellers in my niche (relationships) are ones that I wouldn't recommend. It's time consuming to review the product, & determine if it is a product that is selling well, because some of the best quality products are not priced to sell. I'm making progress w/ CB, but it's a more time intensive process than I expected.

@jpg2502 money is everywhere dude, and you need to get it through your head that this is not just some system where you must do hard work to get money. for instance - merchanting and marketing with such things as ebay. you can buy something cheap on ebay, sell it for more. buy something cheap, and sell it for more over ebay. that is obviously a verrry simple explanation to saying that not everything requires hard work... moneys everywhere and you can get it pretty much any way possible.

I've been told that if you want to do an honest review, most times the author of the product will give you a review copy for free for affiliates...just contact them.

I have to tell you that I tried ClickBank and it definately does not work. I haven't make any sales and wasn't making any money as promised I would. I have to tell you that it's impossible to make an overnight fortune online which is what everybody wants. It's just not possible. I would advise to abstain from advertising online about making money or how easy it is. It's never easy to make money online. That's the real world.

@dmana3172 Completely agree that it is hard, but it does work. I think the problem is there is so much hype and focus on the "making money" part that people (not you, just in general) don't focus enough on building a useful website FIRST. Once you actually have a site getting thousands of visitors per day from your content, making money is actually easy. The hard part is getting to that point and I think people get frustrated because it does take time to get there.

Well said! I couldn't agree more. I've seen a lot of bad business models. And some really bad sites pushing eBooks and CB products. I do buy products from time to time on CB, but often if I feel the seller directing me there was shady, I will usually find another seller to give the credit to instead, or I just buy it from CB without giving anyone credit. There is no need to reward bad marketing when it's something I'm already going to buy anyhow. Right?

Just discovered your channel Lisa, & I'm making my way through your ClickBank vids. You're right about there being a lot of crap on clickbank. In fact, some of the top sellers in my niche (relationships) are ones that I wouldn't recommend. It's time consuming to review the product, & determine if it is a product that is selling well, because some of the best quality products are not priced to sell. I'm making progress w/ CB, but it's a more time intensive process than I expected.

I'm thinking about signing up to clickbank as a seller. There is a $50 fee to sign up. But if I get a huge increase in traffic it would be worth it. Will Clickbank really increase my traffic? Will a lot of random people really advertise my site with hoplinks?

Maybe I'm clueless but I signed up for clickbank and don't see anywhere where it lets you pick which products you want to promote. The only thing I see is a HopAdBuilder that creates ads for you using a keyword. Where am I going wrong?

hey lisa, i am a college student looking to make some extra cash on the side and have recently discovered this whole affiliate marketing thing. As you know there are many "too good to be true" stories of people claiming and showing their clickbank accounts where they make close or more than a thousand dollars a day. my question to you is how are they able to do this? i assume they are mass spamming the internet with their links but dont really know. what do you think/know?

LISA. just wanted to warn you that those 'make money fast' websites are using your name in vain. its bizarre really as they are charging £60 for there 'training' on how to make money through clickbank. they basically are saying all that you have said in this one video!yet they charge for it.

@jpg2502 money is everywhere dude, and you need to get it through your head that this is not just some system where you must do hard work to get money. for instance - merchanting and marketing with such things as ebay. you can buy something cheap on ebay, sell it for more. buy something cheap, and sell it for more over ebay. that is obviously a verrry simple explanation to saying that not everything requires hard work... moneys everywhere and you can get it pretty much any way possible.
