Maybe you didn't know but we use 40mm or shock grenades to clear houses if we are sure there is a threat inside. Civilians or not. Safety first you know.

Yea, I'm all for that and I agree, safety first. I was just replying to all of the people who think they should have just used explosives to blow the whole friggen door off. Sometimes you have to use a different approach. But yea I agree, use the grenades if there is a threat, civilians or not.

If you have a lock, insert the Halligan tool into the lock and twist. It will snap the lock off the hasp or the hasp off the door. If you don't have a Halligan, any pointy piece of metal will do. Insert, twist, done.
You need to learn your trade before it gets you killed.
Breaching is not rocket science, you just have to do it right. Focus your energy where it needs to go and in the direction you want it.

That is the most pathetic breach I have ever seen.
Do it right and get it done. Lock or no lock, that ain't how it is done. If you don't know how, get a book or at least google it. You are going to die doing it like that.
Here is a hint: You don't have to break the lock off to get the door out of the way... Locks are usually stronger than the hasp they are mounted in. Drive the door in and it will fail.

I just figured it'd be best to try and break it right in, rather than knocking the lock off first.
But given your reply to the other comment, about the doors being solid metal, going for the lock was probably best because it's the weakest spot.
