The Law and the Prophets (old testament) have a lot of history and common sense, but very few imaginary characters. She is also a comedic genius, and I'll listen to anything she has to say. Based on her own description of God, she is a clear window to God in all the joy that emanates from her. I just read her book and she is not only a great actress, it seems that she is a great person.

Jesus is one way. The Bible promotes one religion, that was culturally done to convert pagans to christianity so the church/gov't could dominate the people. The intention has since changed, and there is of course spirituality in the bible. Hinduism is another. Buddhism is another. I think the principles of the ten commandments are great. Romans 9 is about what God ultimately did in light of the response he got again and again from this proud man. His principles aren't necessarily literal. The literal ones are broad - love one another, treat each other like you'd like to be treated. The allegorical old, limited self, dying to ascend to greater love, greater spirituality, and only the best, can old be gleaned from the story of Jesus's death.

God is an essence? The power of God keeps the Earth spinning and in its path as it orbits around the sun. Man is in rebellion to God via Adam & Eve of Gensis 3 adn that spiritual death leads us to sin as we do further keeping us from his love and grace till one recognized that condition via the scripture and they can be born again, reconcile to God and get back into union with him in terms of will etc. God never winks at sin, he endures with man, but not forever

So much of our spiritual outlook is based on our life experiences. You have one idea of God. I have an idea of God. They're different. If we are creation, who are we to define God to a human? And to a man? I see that as a limitation of who and what God is.

I think the fallen angels are very content with haviong you beleive that. No one is defining anything except the supernatural book the bible, but you reject it. You are gonna fit into the new world well., ofcourse that only lasts for a season. All the redefining of god will in no way change anything. God is still going to save those who repent. He is still going to judge sin, whether you care about it or not. He is still coming back, whether you like it or not. God is not to be manipulated

Yoga is HIndu, even the yogi's are honest in that, but stupid American's think it is just excercise, It is not. It is mystical ways to yoke with Brahma, it is not something I want to be doing with false gods, who are really familiar spirits and demons. Don't feel sorry for my child, he will enter eternal life at his own choice to do so. Yoga can be practiced as spiritual or as non as you want to do. Kind of like how there are orthodox jews, and Jerry Seinfeld. In what way are Brahmans false gods? They are different from the gods in your book, but are not false.

Uh, no, that is Hindu pure and simple. You are trying to yoke with "The essence" or God in the eastern worldview. The supernatural book talks about a fallen angel who lead a rebellion, and it was forbidden to seek these beings through divination and a laundry list of other means of contacing these beings, and they play the role of gods to the deceived. Have you read the bible? But people still go into these states of spiritual realms and have subjective experiences. No thanks. Heed the warning

Jesus is one way. The Bible promotes one religion, that was culturally done to convert pagans to christianity so the church/gov't could dominate the people. The intention has since changed, and there is of course spirituality in the bible. Hinduism is another. Buddhism is another. I think the principles of the ten commandments are great. I don't wish harm on anyone. Honestly, God cannot be contained in the image of a male human being, and the direction to lead a loving, and kind life are good.

I'm not threatened by others' spiritual beliefs. I think you're confusing the essence of Jesus' message with the rules (like about false gods) that were laid out with mal intent. Much of the bible is instructional as a form of control. That goes against Jesus' teachings, unfortunately, both are frequently wrapped up in one package. There is a Jesus in every religion. He is not unique. So respect other's beliefs as well.

You have really been fed a line. You will find out the bible is correct when a worldwide famine comes. Jesus commands you to repent and be born again, but you gloss over that. It is sad that they reject the ONly hope fo the world and you trample the precious son of God.

When there is famine, I hope Jesus will show up in the form of putting aside pride, and working as one. But better, I hope we can exercise that idea Jesus represents, and head destruction off at the pass. I will find out global warming is correct if a famine comes.

God has the abiblity to draw all redeemed reprentant men and women to himself. You can't pull a text here and there, there are 66 books of the bible and you have to look at the whole to get it. Hitler could have repented in the last second I supose, but usually when a person has rejected him and continues to do so, they are given over to a reprobate mind and given what they really want: independance from God. It is called self honesty and it is so clear in the scriptures, all flawed humans can come to him for cleansing and help, but most perfer the darkness to the light.
If you notice in the scripture it was Pharoah initially who hardened his heart I believe twice in a row before God then hardened his heart. So keep that in mind first.
