  • anyone know how much u get paid to join the army?

  • I'm stuck in-between joining the navy or the army any advice?

  • if you want to join the military you have to be willing to risk your life for the people of america 1 man can save millions

  • The military is the biggest CULT on earth! They recruit, then isolate you, break you down, then brainwash, then indoctrinate, then send you out to do their dirty work and have you do it for peanuts! How sick is that?

  • @aceshigh8881 then dont join pussy

  • OMG THIS IS FUCKEN STUPID.!!!!!!!!!!! LOOK AT HIM.! LOOK AT WHERE HES LIVING.!!!! THERES MORE WAYS TO GO TO COLLEGE LIKE LEARN.!!! LOOK AT WHY YOU SHOULDN'T GO TO THE MILITARY.!!!!! THE MILITERY IS A LIE.!!! THEY ONLY WANT IDIOTS TO FIGHT FOR THEM.!!! IF YOU WANT TO JOIN JUST KILL YOUR SELF RIGHT NOW.!!!! (Don't.! I was kidding) Well if you want go. A lane in the freeway just opened up. but think of this. you are going to kill insistent people. What if that was your Dad Or Mom.!!!

  • @joshhhhhhhhhhhhhhful how about you shut the fuck up

  • Thanks dude, am eleven years old and I decided am going to join the airforce or the u.s military between witch one will support me for college. I might even serve for more than 4 years or 3 years, yes am afraid of my choice but that is where my heart is leading. When am atleast 18 I will join. :)

  • @RagedCow dude the u.s military is any armed force of our nation for example ARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE and the one im joining MARINES Semper Fi

  • i want to be a grunt. that is where my place is. but truthfully if you are afraid to die then the military esp. combat positions will not be for you.

  • AIRFORCE!! BITCHES

  • im not afraid to die.. i just cant decide weather to join the marine corps, or the air force!!

  • I'm only a 10 year old girl and I'm thinking about joining the military. I'd be happy to serve my country. :)

  • Joining the military does not mean that you will be defending the country. The purpose of the U.S. military should be to defend the US yet one of the greatest myths ever invented is that the current US military somehow defends our freedoms. First of all, our freedoms are not in danger of being taken away by foreign countries; if they are taken away it will be by our own government. It is not a country making war on us that we need to fear, it is our government making war on the Bill of Rights.

  • Thank you so much for this video

  • i wanna join the army,. but i dont wanna die

  • @JAKECROCKETT7 If you join... you have to be prepared to die. So if you're not prepared to die, don't join.

  • @JAKECROCKETT7 joining the military isnt all about dieing i wanna be a seal and i cant even tell you how many times people have told me your goin to die

  • @JAKECROCKETT7 If you die , you died a good person who fought for our country . God bless the USA

  • @JAKECROCKETT7 There are plenty of safe jobs but it is fighting for your country dont be afraid im in the navy dep program

  • i want to join the army but i don't want to break my glasses.

  • Thank You, I am 13 Years Old, And i really want to join the Marines. I know i am young to make this decision...i still have my whole life ahead of me...you have eased my worry about joining the military...When i turn 18 i am going to fly out to Parris Island, South Carolina...or look for a USMC Recruitment base in Arizona and personally sit down and join the military...That will be my birthday gift to me...To Serve my country...and to know i can choose my deployment makes me sleep easier on this

  • @TheMedivalWolf you are never too young to choose what you want to do.

  • Wtf were you an optometrist?

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks for making this video. It will help a lot of interested people in joining the military.

  • so you can tell the military were you will go and wont go ,? explain that to me ?

  • anyone that joins this absurd, tyrannical army of shitheads, is insane.. want a career and adventure? go fuck yourself.. want to defend your countrymen? stay the fuck home

  • @longfootbuddy listen son... sitting on your damn ass at the computer dissing the men who have saved your ass multiple times at war, isn't defending your country, in fact you are doing just a tad bit worse for it, instead of you working at that fucking burger king serving our country good by serving us fat food so we can be more lazy... i'll tell you if everyone were like you during WW11 our ass would fucking Japan or Germany right now.

  • @usmcburleson listen son, serving a tyrant goverment isnt helping anyone.. you brainwashed fool

  • @longfootbuddy i will will not let this "tyrant government" fall for i live under it, not fighting for your country because of the president who runs it is absurd, that's like saying you won't go to school because of the principle. I'm not brainwashed someones gotta do it and i feel the need to do it and save this "tyrant country"

  • @usmcburleson i didnt say anything about the fuckin president.. i said the goverment.. do what you want to fool.. if you cant see what this goverment is doing to the american people, nothing i can say will make you snap out of your blind stupor

  • "You get payed, you have access to medical treatment, you can go to school...." wooowww what a bunch of privileges!!!! How about comming home in a case, or having a PTSD for the rest of your life, how about you not being able to do any thing when you come back... Try to research about real problems veterans and majority have, get some numbers how many really had enoght money to pay the school, how is with healt support for vets, how many have issues with drogs, alco...!? Stop spreding this crap

  • Your words make my mind at ease when thinking of joining. thank you ^_^

  • Hey can pre teens join the army like really I need something to do with my life like I could make sure that they get their packages well I forgot what it's called so plz inbox me back ASAP

  • @videogamegirlsings Kid we dont take children in my beloved Corps, and they damn well dont in any other branch, not the Army, not the navy, not the National Gaurd, and most definitely not the Marine Corps. Get through Highschool get your Diploma and if your sorry ass cant do that then get a G.E.D. We look for the best and weed out the Weak. You probably dont even know what we do in the military either. Or what bootcamp is.

  • Now its not my job to deny you to join but i will give you advice if you need something to do with your life than the military is not for you. Find you OWN passion, if it is the military then join. Otherwise you'd give up on the tough life of a serviceman/woman. The military is a HUGE decision that will change you for life. For some joining is the worst decision of their lives, for others the best. Military isnt for everyone.

  • @videogamegirlsings And if you get the balls to try and join my beloved Corps be prepared! The Marine Corps are the toughest out of all the branches since we are put into the toughest situations.

  • thank you for your service and i am thinking about joining when i graduate.

  • thanx 4 the info

  • i rather not, thanks....

  • so you can choose were you want to get deployed ???? is thst what you said .

  • whip out your m16 and take care of them damn birds!!!

  • Dude 5 years really! Stfu. There are people like my dad who just reinlisted.

  • dont ask dont tell ? ? ? lmao

  • Anyone who watches this video should watch user:stefbot 's YouTube video "How to stay out of the Army... " to get a different perspective....

  • does anyone know what are the benefits of joining the military such as free healthcare or something

  • If you join the military for the pay your joining for the wrong reasons

  • @buddyofplumphy I agree. It's a volunteer service for a reason. You join to fight for your country, not to get extra cash.

  • Our armed forces are engaged in immoral and unlawful wars.

The pay & benefits by historic standard are in a terrible state, and do not even begin to compensate for the risk & damage to your life. There is NEVER any time on active duty on a hard serving enlistment, for them to send you to university even if they wanted to, which they don't.

A university B.A. is next to worthless, and is not going to get you a commission, those are for nepotism selections.

    DON'T GO INTO THE MILITARY

  • @centurion180ad

Shut up you liberal piece of shit. And don't give me the shit "OHHH I was in the military." Because I'm going to tell you the same shit that I told everyone else, don't join if you don't know what you're getting into.

And don't go off making your opinion everyone else's, you stupid hypocritical fuck.

  • @ObliviousCrow By 1943 standard in today’s dollars a PFC’s pay, foreign duty and combat bonus amounted to 2,943 dollars per month. Sergeant with sufficient time-in-service assuming sharpshooter, amounted to 4,185 dollars per month.

Hazardous Duty Incentive Pay for a paratrooper was 1,886 per month in today’s dollars. A PFC’s aircrew incentive pay was 940 dollars a month, and that was 1,320 dollars per month for a Sergeant.

Demobilization benefits were 686 dollars a WEEK for 52 weeks.

  • @ObliviousCrow 1945 Demobilization Benefits were today’s equivalent of 686 dollars a WEEK for 52 weeks to be supplanted by Room & Board for 1,430 dollars a month plus ALL university fees for the duration, to include a master’s program if so selected.

The amount of cost-of-living support was 50% more if a beneficiary had 1 or more dependents, to include a spouse and/or children.

  • I'm very disappointed with your argument for joining and counterarguments for not; they're all based on the fickle and selfish premise of "I don't wanna die". That is completely not what should deter you, quite the opposite - I would never join simply because i don't want to kill, especially for money or any material bribes they may offer. It would be funny if it wasn't so sickening how you can sit there and avoid this view, as if it never entered you mind.

  • layoff with the negative comments assholes. this guy devoted 5 years of his life to protect our country no matter what job he had in it. you should be thanking him for that and how he's talking to people now instead of being douchebags and talking shit online. thanks skyanimal

  • Don't ask don't tell. This fuckin guy...

  • joining the military is a good idea.I mean sure you have the chance of dying but we can die anyday so thats not a real factor.Fighting for a reason you dont want to well thats something you have to overlook because just say your fighting for your family and friends...i am.Also great heathcare and education its a pretty sweet job if you make it that way

  • im writing a book about being a phone operator in hawaii and being 24 years old.......sounds AMAZING

  • They let douchebag like you in the army?

  • @2cool4uification youtube let a dumbass like you on here?

  • Fight for the Banks.

  • @Bristow42 True and we bail em out everytime and fuck us still.

  • @Bristow42 moron

  • How couldn't someone who has ambitions to join the military not be able to do 1 fucking pushup? I'm 15 and do 64 in a row.

  • Sounds your a lil curious yourself Mmmhm

  • You fucking hippie losers who for some unknown reason troll videos concerning the military and bash this country's finest institution deserve to be curb stomped by a soldier.

  • I hate all these stupid hippy comments, if we didnt have to fight for freedom, we wouldnt, besides half you idiots play COD half the day anyways so shut up

  • Why you should join the military?

Because you're a lunatic willing to be ordered to go and kill people you don't know.

Because you have lost all moral convictions (aka you have "mental toughness").

This guy is a recruiter or a paid shill.

  • @Txsray Idiot, nuff said.

  • @Txsray Dude fuck off and die.

  • I luv the military all I know is the miitary because I'm a military brat and doing jrotc and they have cool jobs like airbourne troopers and combat medics

  • if you join during a time of war and are to affriad of combat then you are a fucking pussy and shouldnt be joining. its the ppl like that that try to take more credit for being in the military than anyone else when all they do is push papers or work on some computer. and you say you will stay in shape most those fuckers who dont have combat jobs are fat as fuck and lazy as hell. usmc 0331

  • 2:30 just defeated his own argument. Support of one's country NEVER lies in militarism; it lies in intercultural knowledge and understanding. You don't change a nation by killing it's people, you educate them and then they will hopefully take the humane side! But what humane acts has the military ever committed? The bad surely outweighs the good.

  • @sillymonkey829

Strong bro logic. Are you 12 years old?

  • @cutthatcity "Strong bro logic."? That doesn't make any sense. You sure you're not 12 years old?

And if my logic is so weak, then why don't you at least try to refute one of my points? Instead you just rely on a puerile ad hominem attack. Pretty weak yourself, bro.

  • gona talk to a recruiter 2moro because this world is not fullfilling me

  • Unless you rather get shot at, end up homeless or have any more urges to kill yourself, rip up your shitty bullshit military contract now. The US government and military don't give a flying F about you. They have no problem sending you into an obvious suicide mission. You can get out now, and live, or you can keep on plugging away at it and play the Russian Roulette probabilities over and over, but eventually you're going to catch a bullet.

  • @FoxifiedNutjob

You have first hand knowledge of this?

  • Joining the military after 9/11 (yes, even 10 years later) it's like being on the sex offender registry-

    You never get out.

  • I'm 11 but I've always dreamed of joining and I will I'll finish collage and join try to be a ranger and I want to go over seas and fight

  • I cannot think of one good reason to join the military, but I can think of lots not to join. You will be a corporate killing machine and you might get killed yourself.

  • @wailingsoul9 well someones got to do it...

  • hey thanks for your service.

The fact that you are awake in the morning, i can see light from outside, and i can HEAR BIRDS CHIRPING?

all you needed to say bro.

  • don't because youare a tool that is abused and ied too. When you get out they will play nore games with you then itys worth be like the rich kids stay home and go to school

  • how old were you when you joined bud?

  • I'm 32, 147lbs, no debt, college graduate $110,000 and a love of finance, single and no dependents, would a be a good option for me to join the army?

  • @gopconservative78

I think you should. I know many people who have good jobs and tell me that they regret not joining when they were younger. I guess their life really has no meaning.

  • @TheFrostyVision 15 of my friends from college are in the army and airforce. I can't stand not working right now, and the Army I have thought about from time to time over the years. I want to be a part of something bigger than myself.

  • Mental toughness..So I cant smoke a joint in the military?

  • I would join the mexican or united nations military not usa

  • You get Free Socks!

  • Why would I sign away the freedoms just to just be a pawn?

  • @neomysterio Trust me, we the military don't need someone who is extremely unmotivated and don't get it.

  • @USAFFuturePilot You don't get it, you don't even know the real reason you are fighting. Enjoy being the corrupt governments tool.

  • @neomysterio Enjoy being an idiot. Takes a conspiracy theorist like you to think the government is doing anything that attroticous. Oh well, let me guess, you think we are fighting for money, oil, or some other ridiculous resources that we yet have? Or for "world domination" or some shit like that?

  • @USAFFuturePilot If you weren't such an ignorant fool you would read the documents about the war you

support released by Wikileaks. Educate yourself and you will be set free.

  • @neomysterio What documents? Oh you mean the really embarrasing/obvious one's that people really could guess easily? Yeah, I read a few of them. Those were mostly embarrasing, or atleast the ones I read were. and I read quite a few.

  • so i told my parents im joining the military after graduation and there completely against it i have always wanted to be able to repay my country for the freedoms i have and i think people dont understand i really feel that way but they think im just repeating things recruters say. thank you for sharing ur info. i also am doing for the benefits. i have no problems going to fight for my country. do you have any ideas on who would be a good person to bring to the recruiting office to help.

  • If I join I can be more like this fucking dork?

    Awesome.

  • @jamesvszombie Way to have no fucking respect. You should consider joining just to learn how to respect people.

  • Military is an outdated institution , and it's kill and or be killed that's it the rest is tactics and mind control.

  • Two wrongs don't make a right. If you want to get your voice heard in the government, mainly because you think they are stupid, then you don't need to do the military service just to get their appreciation and attention. You don't rescue freedom in your country by becoming obedient to those taking your freedom away.

  • what do you mean they couldn't do a pushup there's a pft before enlistment

  • I'm 26 and I'm doing it now. I really wish I'd done it back when I was in high school, but better late than never.

  • Why wouldn't you?!?!?!?! You get to kill people legaly! FTW!!!! Terrorists HATE our freedom they are jealous!! Join the army and teach them who's boss, Don't mind that wev'e been in the middle east for the 3000 that died on 9/11 for 10 years now, don't mind that every family over there has lost some one and don't think twice about the bombs being dropped on the Gaza strip. It's for freedom isn't it?! You give up your mother, your brother, your father, for FREEDOM! AMERICAAA! FUCK YEAHH!!

  • I'm enlisting for 3 years reserve 5 years IRR. I will probably deploy at least once though. I'm not scared of being deployed, but being away from my family is what is really going to be hard. But that is just the way it is.

  • holy shit do I see BDU's

  • Fuck that. After the Bush administration i lost all trust in the goverment. leavin this country as soon as possible, once we run out of oil its fucked.

  • @Aidanisc00leo What do you do by profession, I can take in EU for some time? ;)

  • Hey man, where did you go to basic at? I'm going to Fort Benning soon! Your experience sounds great tell me more about your specific job if you would.

  • As a Marine Corp Vet, I will say... If you really want to do this... please think alot about what your doing and RESEARCH AS MUCH AS YOU CAN BEFORE YOU DO! youtube com/watch?v=v46xu-j3XMA&feature=related Most Americans are waking up to the Zionist Control!

  • and the money for school thing is also a catch. what the miltary doesnt tell you is that in most cases you will not be going to school during your military career. My battle buddy join the army to get money for school and signed up for a program the army offers called college first. After he signed his contract and was under command of the army they finally told him he couldn't go to school that he needs to do a tour in iraq first. Its not just the Army that does it every branch.

  • why dont you tell them about the stop-loss program? the military is not something anyone should do. and I AM speaking from experience. to anyone thinking of enlisting search the video "Before You Enlist" (updated)" and watch the REAL facts of the military. also sky mentions that you can request duty stations. This is true, however the actually chances of getting the station you want is about 5%. The Army puts you where they want you. It is legalized slavery!

  • @skyanimal thanks man for making this video-finally time to see someone who encourages military and not a liberal hippie piece o' shit. again, thanks.

  • DONT ASK DONT TELL NE 1??

  • @zerkrxagent hahaha same thing i was gonna post right when i started to watch the vid

  • only the weak minded joins the army.

  • @lebronjamesXD My best friend died alone and afraid in the middle east.

  • @POTATER1228 is ur sob story suppose to get to me?

  • @lebronjamesXD no, I'm trying to support your statement, he was my friend, I just wish he didnt join the military. douche. Fans like you prove why Kobe is better

  • @POTATER1228 im not even a lebron james fan! >:(

  • @lebronjamesXD Really? User-name must of fooled me

  • @POTATER1228 i just picked a random username, relax.

  • @POTATER1228 hahahaha I KNO HUH... lebronjames

  • So did your ability to THINK begin when you left the good ol' army?

  • Why did you get out?

  • haha full metal jacket is extreme.. cuz its the marines and actually its even worse than that from what I hear

  • You look like a FAGGET

Idk how they let you in.

  • @ChillinPR0

    You can't spell.

  • Our current president pulled us out.of the war on terrorism. I don't know but i'd be really made. knowing my friends hath died right in front of you for nothing. Just my opinion I don't know I have not been able to join the corps yet but i will time willing that is

  • joining :) I not afraid and I know what I going to put myself in to

  • cool vid, and I really enjoy the benefits the Army has to offer. I'm from brazil, so i def. didn't enlist to serve MY country, but yet to serve the country that I live in. The Benefits were def. one of my biggest interest. Everyone has their views in the military, and not everyone is made for it.

  • It's funny how those who have served in combat have a totally different opinion. They say fuck the military I'm not going back, whereas you say join just for the benefits. Those who want to join just for the benefits do not belong in the military. The Marine Corps never list any benefits, so if you want a challenge and to push yourself to it's limits than becoming a Marine is the way to go. You will deply at the President's call, and they won't be a stop-loss policy.

  • You make good points, but the idea that "everyone should enlist' is simply foolish. When someone thinks about a job one must first consider what one would be doing first then consider the benefits. It's not just about making it through BCT, I would agree that everyone can make it. But do you honestly think that everyone wants to be put in a position where they will have to kill someone? Does anyone need to experience those aspects? The military is not for anyone, not even close.

  • Good information.

  • because its like playing call of duty in real life? LOL!

  • @verynice420 No its not come on now

  • /watch?v=akm3nYN8aG8

    Soldiers are waking up

  • A Book that every soldier must Read (Addicted to War) and the film. I would recommend these documentaries Zeitgeist War Made Easy Iraq for Sale Why we fight Zeitgeist Addendum I'm an ex U.s. Army veteran myself and the Military is the last place to find a job. (Skyanimal) gives some great points but there is so much more that recruiters are not telling you. I've been there, and One last video i recommend "U.s. Soldiers are waking up"
  • There's a reason why you joined in the first place so don't judge on peoples decisions. If it's some video game obsessed 14 year old then feel free to slap the little shit around

  • what if i really want to join but my parents won't let me?? i know i don't need their permission once i'm 18 but i dont want to hurt their feelings

  • Son let me tell you. i don't know about the army but in the marines, atleast force recon (scout sniper for me) you never knew what you were doing. you were given minimal intel and given an objective. I could be sitting by a fucking tree for 3 weeks to see what the enemy was doing, same spot the entire time. I could be on a special mission. If your thinking about joining the Armed forces join the Airforce. Best benifits and very few are even pilots. If your crazy extremely well built. Navy Seal.

  • @MarineSGT1987 exactly so military people follow blindly and dont know what they are doing and why for the most part.

  • A- ARENT

    R- Ready

    to be

    M- Marines

    Y- Yet

  • @MATTHEWTHEINGRAM

I love that movie but I haven't seen jarhead in a long time!

  • Here's why I changed my mind in joining the military.

    1. Great Generals stand in front of their armies not hide in a bunker 15,000 miles away from the battlefield.

    2. The purpose of war isn't clear these days. Vietnam? Iraq? Afghanistan? If it was Adolf Hitler we're talking about, I'd be more than glad to join!

    3. Who will I really protect when I decide to join the Military? The war profiteers? The government?

I respect those who are willing to join but please, FIGHT for the right reasons.

  • i'll sooner go to canada for the rest of my life than serve in the military based on principal. i don't think that wars or violence solves anything. you may say: well, what about national security. well, the only reason we need that is because we seem to be very good at pissing off other countries. (especially those with "brown people" in it). :D

  • cool vid i like it but shut the birds up

  • he should have just said you should join so that you could have that hair cut

  • Have you ever seen Jarhead ?

  • Good thing they have the don't ask don't tell rule cause you look gay as hell haha

  • actually, thank you, you are very logical

  • Why not

  • Give up your rights to make choices for yourself & you get to murder innocent people in other countries with state of the art technology against people throwing rocks to protect there families. Fucking Murderers. Dont confuse democracy with republicans you douchebag... Your taking the freedoms away from other countries.

  • i like what your are saying you get health and dental homing pay for food meal accounts payed for i like what your saying im in the military now during my bmt it is 80%mental and 20%physical you can do it all you just need to do is tell yourself you can do this and you can dont quit bmt pushes you to you limits and even more than your limits im curently enlisted

  • sky animal when do u pick your station of choice??? im doing paperwork now but its for the army national guard....

  • @nealort3 you get a little sheet of paper during basic u get 3 choices and u circle the choice u want. rarely ever going to get it unless u have a crappy MOS. if u get a big bonus an long AIT lengths be prepared for them to put you wherever they want and you wont get a choice. usually if you re-enlist they will give you a new bonus or your choice of duty station. but take the bonus, duty station could only be like 6 months then your out a bonus and they still send you where they want.

  • I'm shipping out in 4 days, I have some pre-bct anxiety. However, watching this video mitigated it a lot. Thanks.

  • Hey sky,I really want to join, but my eyes aren't the best, what are the requirements for vision?I'm not blind or anything but stuff is out of focus without my extra two eyes haha.

  • @kingmanted

You can't be a pilot if you have glasses but that won't stop you from joining the military.

  • We are part of a republic not a democracy. They make you take an oath to uphold and protect the constitution and then right afterward make you break that oath by sending you to iraq.

  • Wait, is this part 1? You could've at least relabled it as such...but it's cool. Here's 5 stars.

  • but i ju wanna knw y do recruiters lie??? i mean there are some ppl tht cant c themselves doin anything but bein in the military(im 1 of those guys) i knw what cud happen if i join but id rather get as much out of life by bein in the military instead of playin it safe i mean ur recruiter u have suppose to help u join but there really not there jus helpin themselves by gettin the points they need or wateva it is

  • research all available sources.

youtube, goarmy, military, everything what is available.

you have to know what you are going in to.

yes you can ask to be stationed on hawaii but it does not mean that you gonna gad it.

you have to consider that you also can end up in south korea.

I wont to be an 11B and ended up as an 88M.

  • Why you should join the military?

    Sir to kill sir!

    So you are a killer?

    Sir yes sir!

Let me see your war face!

    Sir...?
