2 things, when Blowski was going to fight HUlk, he was no longer an average human and Tony Stark only appeared in the end.

1. The effects were worse.

2. The acting was terrible.

3. The action was anti-climactic because it happens way too often.

The older one was far superior, and can be looked at as a real film, not just a comic book movie or action movie. That's what I prefer.

I'm a huge fan of Hulk, I collect Hulk comics, and that movie didn't "alanate" me. What did ALIENATE me was the newer one being so horribly dumbed down as a movie. Whoever wrote it just assumed that everyone reading comics is an illiterate moron (kinda like you). Second, it had a lot to do with the comics. More so than this one, actually, because he saves the Harper character from getting blasted with radiation. He's not saving anyone in this one, he's just out for himself.

I mean he saves the guy when he first gets blasted with radiation. That is exactly what happens in the comics, just translated to a modern setting. The TV show was the worst of all renditions of the Hulk. Every fight, he defeats them then gets hurt and runs away. It's so idiotic. Plus, the new movie shows him with open cuts and blood streaming out. I DON'T THINK SO. Hulk has healing powers big time, so once again, the older one is better.

Third, as a film, it did not suck. Dialogue was smarter, the tone was much more evocative of a comic book theme, and the colors used makes me think of a comic book. The new movie's Hulk looks like a nine foot Bruce Lee, not a gigantic bulky muscular creature, like he has always been. Everyone can give me all the thumbs down they want, but the only ones who liked the newer one more have diminished brain capacity. I'm sick of 03 hulk being insulted, so fuck you people.

Emil Blonsky is part of the team that tries to take down the Bruce Banner.He then gets injected before he fights the Hulk. The whole thing makes him mentally unstable and he goes through an other procedure and becomes the Abomination.

I didn't realise they used elements from the old TV show besides having a cameo apperance of the original actor for Bruce Banner from the old TV that's a nice twist score for Marvel their. Spider Man 1 is the best of the 3 in terms of "is this a good movie" instead of "does this suck but makes up for it with the visuals?"

The Incredible Hulk is way much better then Iron Man. And also, to the reason why Emil confronted Hulk when he's still human is because he was injected with the "super soldier serum," so in the movie he thought that he could still take down the Hulk while he still was in human form.

Wow that was interesting to know about how bad the origional hulk did...I never knew it had such bad ending results...

Also i like how you added that one bit about trying to restart a franchise because if this movie spins off good, they are prolly gonna make another 100 Mill in Action figures and other merchandise...

Who knows? I may be totaly wrong...It is still a theory though. =)

Thanks for the movie preview review. I just saw incredible hulk today and it made me feel whole again after the 03 adaption. In my mind it did everything that needed to be done in a hulk movie...satisfying number of hulk smash moments, decent adversary, strong cast and awesome ending fight scene. It's definitely a must see film for super hero fans. And I'm waiting big time for the Avengers flick.

Ok I just watched The Incredible Hulk in the theater and it wasn't that good :( Its better than the David Bana version though. The CGI was ok. Tony Stark's cameo is at the very end but not after the credits. I didn't stay til after but I hear there's nothing after.

When the 1st hulk came out I did not really care 4 it. As u said the plot was messed up & u could tell from the preview. I was like "what the ^$@& is this?" The selling point 4 this movie is Edward Norton. Cuz he disappears in2 his roles. So if the last movie lacked character development then this 1 will most definitely have it. Norton is famous 4 making his characters real. Look at Hagrid in the Harry Potter. It wasn't CGI. But it worked. He is a giant. Hulk is not that big so it can be done.

i like the first Hulk movie a lot and i think it was the best superhero movie ever because it has such a realistic and wierd approach to a simple character, like the old tv show. The acting was great, edited perfectly and the visuals were amazing.
