  • Lol, it's so funny to see Meredith Baxter as Meg. All the time I thought she was going to say "steven", "alex" or "mallory". She was a cute thing :)

  • So, for the first two seconds I was thinking poopy, they're in trouble... But for the rest of the video, all I could think was AAAHHHHH! GREER GARSON!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is the version I like the best!! All the qualities you want are here. Greer Garson is incomparable.

  • Susan Dey acts as if she was in a coma...

  • that is very different than the book..

  • @kensmom33 sooooo true-but this wasn`t too bad,tho.I didn`t like this Marmee,she wasn`t as strong as she`s supposed to be.

  • the hairstyles and makeup of most of the actors is soooo 1970's.

  • poor jo

  • I prefer the 1994 version better.

  • I love this version, excellent actors too.

    Where is the DVD ?...

  • oh yay one of my fav scenes from the book.

  • i love this book!...first classic novel ive read.... hehe!

  • Eve Plumb is playing Meg???

  • No, she was Beth

  • Lol "They've given him permission to SPEAK to you, MADness"

    xD

i would love to watch the full version, is it on here anywhere?

  • Is nice to see Elyse Keaton, Jan Brady and Laurie Partridge in the same movie!

  • I was afraid that this would turn out like the BBC version of Anne of Green gables. But Meg's acting is actually quite good.

  • I think the '49 & '94 versions are much better. I'm not sure what version this one is, but's it dosn't seem very good.

  • Can someone out there post the entire miniseries?

  • I've always loved Little Women

  • Although I adore Greer Garson this character is purely a copy of her role as "Mrs Parkington".An amusing movie by the way if you haven't seen it.

  • she seems to copy the actress who played Mrs de Bourg in Pride and prejudice where Garson was Elisabeth Bennet

  • That actress was Edna May Olivier.

  • thankyou :)

  • @4262009AP Hard to say who is better--Edna or Greer--they are both terrific. Edna has this eccentric quality that is sooo funny. Whereas Greer has the imperious quality. Such an immortal book and movies

  • whoa-a scandallous lol this looks interesting I can't believe I didn't know about this version! I worshipped Little Women when I was a kid ^_^

  • So funny...what a pity Garson never played comedy or character parts more often; she was such an undervalued talent.

  • this version is diffinely more true to the book, but i still like the way the 1994 version captures the spirit. but there both good:)

  • Its Little Women.

  • I love seeing greer in fun parts like this. thanks for uploading!

  • I so agree , Ms Garson is sorley missed

  • Even in her latter days, Garson was a queen...one only wishes she had had the opportunities for more flashy character parts such as this.

  • Thank you for sharing this! I loved the miniseris...I cried when Beth died, and when the cousin who resembled Beth appears on the show.

Can you tell me where you got the videos? And do you have the eipsode that I am talking about?
