@Bill20095 when jigsaw was younger he went to the hospital and they found an inoperable tumor in his brain. he was so distraught he tried to kill himself by driving off of a cliff, but he survived, even though he was mangled and bloody and had shards of metal jutting of from him he survived and because of the pain and fear he realized how much he truly loved his life, so he wanted others to feel the same way, but so many people wasted there lives away and he hates that, so he made these traps

*SPOILER ALERT* jigsaw is that old man who created the knife chair trap, made the guy push his face through them. And he only does the life threatening games to see how badly people want to live, this makes them more grateful of life
