@Lexothphia howdy! thanks for the interest. im honored you picked up my sig model suhr and i hope you enjoy it! funny you mention the axe, as every sound you hear in this vid was a factory preset. i did that on purpose to show off how good the presets sound. sadly i cant remember which setting i used for which sound but i promise its one of the preloaded settings. i remember the country stuff being a top boost preset!
dvd is on hold due to DFU writing and recording new demos.

whats funny is these people on here posting probably don't even play and truly don't realize how great a player you are. And whats they also don't realize that if everyone tried to be someone else, then all music would sound the same. There are a lot of genres that I personally don't care for but that doesn't make them bad players. If you want to see bad players just go to guitar center and listen to 90% of the people blaring amps & trying guitars.

He must be a professional guitarist, not a runaway from home who only cares about tonight's gig. That life for all of us today...you must be a professional to survive.
Where is all the good music of the 80s? Studies have much to say about that, but in short: we grew up and we can't appreciate what's new. We like the same things from our teen years...

Andy I love your style, tone and technique. Your phrasing is amazing. I have had A Disconcerting Amalgam for a while and I listen to it all the time. Are you planning on doing an instrumental follow-up? What else are you working on now? The instructional DVD sounds awesome! When is it coming out?

This is a fantastic album. It's rare to hear an instrumental album that has metal, funk, chicken' pickin', and bluegrass style songs, and they're all done exceptionally well. Definitely one of my favorite instrumental cd's.
i'm curious on how u get the scrunchy on cos i cant see to get mine on. it cant fit through the headstock. and if i use a bigger one its too loose to mute the strings

Andy, excellent stuff. Technically and your phrasing was real intriguing. Question, was thinking about suhr dsh+ in bridge and dsv neck on mahogany carved top with ebony fretboard (coil splitters on both)for an all purpose guitar.
Does the dsh+ clean up and/or split well ?
Do you think the double space pickups will compliment the wood better than the single spaced?
Do you think the dsh+ may be too hot and I should stick with ssh or dsh?
@fatherofusall hey man, i still have 1 suhr with the ssh+ ssv combo. BUT i have swapped out pickups in my 2 main moderns to the dsh+ and dsv. i think this combination is magic with my gear. it has a really nice midrange and the top end is very sweet sounding, they still split really well too! i dont think you would be dissapointed if you tried them,

I don't know whether this inspires or discourages me, its so good. I have this album and Andy, as far as I'm concerned you are on par with names like Vai, Satriani, Petrucci, Gilbert, Marino, and Malmsteen.

@downfromup Thats exactly why I didn't post my full song performance vids from songs off my album, and I urge you not to Andy! Especially with these free youtube mp3 downloaders people can get anything they want for free :( Great album btw! I bought it from iTunes a while back and it never gets old man. My Dad and I listen to it like everyday when we drive somewhere! Support Andy Wood and buy the album people!

I don't know whether this inspires or discourages me, its so good. I have this album and Andy, as far as I'm concerned you are on par with names like Vai, Satriani, Petrucci, Gilbert, Marino, and Malmsteen.
