  • I dig music.

  • They should have been a real band.

  • I'M A BOOLDOG DOG

  • who did the vocals on this?

  • @vodkaprime Jason Lee, I believe.

  • are these the real ones or the ones from the movie Almost Famous?

  • the fucking BUZZ

  • yeah, straight on that man!

  • I love this song and I'm not on Drugs.

  • Nicely written by Nancy Wilson(yes, from Heart). I'v always loved Mike McCready, and his lead guitar on this track is most certainly no exception.

  • HELL YEAH ! Give me drugs man, get em from your mother man!

  • Yeah the drum part to this definitely sounds like it ripped off "When the Levee Breaks" by Zeppelin. If you watch the movie, the drummer actually uses an Amber Ludwig Vistalite drum set, which is the same one that Bonham used too.

  • @LiquidSunshineandEC yea i tought so too

  • ''I'M A GOLDEN GOD!''

  • Drugs don't make this song more awesome, this song makes drugs way more awesome!!!

  • saw the movie yesterday..loved it!

  • Stillwater is such a good band.

  • Leave me the Fuck Alooone !!!!!

  • yeah! every band i know from the 70's is so amazing...

  • @carlosalford I dunno how old you are, but I remember going to a 'record' store. Like the Penny Lane character said..'to visit old friends'. Man, you could buy the singles, or the 45's, and sometimes, they came with the spider! It was so cool to walk into the ones that were here, and see the big ass posters from Aerosmith to Zeppelin. One in particular shaped me, because he did share his Iggy Pop and Sex Pistols catalouge with me. At the same time, I'd get "Animals" and read Orwell to it.

  • @Polt318 i'm only 15... i wish i could live some kind of rock n roll experience like these guys from almost famous, i love that movie! makes you feel how great the 70's were

  • @carlosalford It was a movement that was hard for those that were a little ahead of me to let go of when the punks and new wave came in. I was born in 1967, and was there as a child all the way through. I remember Duane Allman being killed. I remember Lynrd Skynrd's plane crash. I remember roller skating to Fame by David Bowie, and Hotel California. It was a really kewl time. Or as Don Henley once said, "it was the end of the innocence". When 1980 got here, it just seemd to all go away. to me

  • @Polt318 wow... 70's were unique, that decade has to resuscitate in the name of rock n roll and all the artist from 70's

  • It sounds in the beginning like "When The Leevee Breaks" by Led Zeppelin.

  • @LesterStone yep.....still cool song!

  • @LesterStone meh.. maybe it has that hard drum intro.. but this is a pure Peter Frampton writing. Sounds like his guitar work minus the 'tube'... I forget the actual singer's name.. but the whole aesthetic here was to capture something between Rock and the California sound from the early 70's... this is one of TWO movies I actually got the soundtrack.. the liner notes and stuff are killer. You should look this up on IMDB. Seems Nancy Wilson of heart helped write some songs as well...

  • @122998duke

    you are a dick....

  • Thought it was worth posting it again!

  • I'M A GOLDEN GOD!!!!!!

  • the only problem with this songs is that its too short!

  • what a tune, 338 likes to 2 dislikes it says it all

  • Oh its cool leave without me I'M ONLY THE FUCKING LEAD SINGER!!!!

  • If you think Mick Jagger will still be out there trying to be a rock star at age fifty, then you are sadly, sadly mistaken.

  • I never said I was a golden god... or did I?

  • its all happening!

  • @jsabbato13 I'M ON DRUGS!

  • @iyuppie ME TOOO!!!!

  • @jsabbato13 I'm on drugs!

  • Hell Yeah!! \m/

  • @stonerh but theres a problem no owants to sing wtf i dontwant to sing

  • listen to this over and over and can't get enough of that beat and that guitar playing.

  • thats bold statement man.

  • Led Zepplin totally ripped Stillwater off.

  • @coffinshaker how did Zepplin ripp them off when they both came out in the same era. for them to rip of Stillwater they would have to come out after.

  • @BlackOpsBelfast I was just kidding - clearly. They didn't come out at the same era - Stillwater never came out at all.

  • @BlackOpsBelfast Nice. You both showed a complete inability to understand a joke and manufactured a chronology for a fictitious band. Well done.

  • @quedasobravo yeah,but the music is real,brother.

  • The intro gives me kinda Bullet The Blue Sky by U2 kind of vibe..

  • there was a real band called stillwater based out of warner robins, georgia. not far from macon where the allman brothers formed

  • Alman Brothers is too good ;p

  • no, this band was based on the Allman Brothers.

  • Yes, but band about the same name play in USA

  • oh man i know there not a real band, but the end solo get me everytime! i even rewind that scene when i watch it... i wish i could play like that

  • Is really good ;)

  • Mike McCready from Pearl Jam played lead on this.

  • @shinebassist88 I played lead on this....

  • was this band real?

  • @PARODYTVication No it's from the movie Almost Famous. Fictional band

  • This band is like Led Zepp... Is based On LED ZEPPELIN ;)

  • Russel Hammond<3

  • So so so so awezome...Almost famous..what a great movie!!!! the soundtranck rocks!!!!

  • Was this band based on Aerosmith? I read that somewhere.

  • @ibeliveification No man This is a band based in LED ZEPPELIN, the tittle of the song say all, FEVER DOG = BLACK DOG of Led Zepp

  • @ibeliveification I could see that.

  • FEVEEEEEEEEER GOG!

  • Love this type of music....Its got fucking soul!!!!!!!

  • Isn't the Lead Singers name Steven Ford?

  • CANT STOP LISTENINGGGGGGGGGG!!!...

  • Fuckin' love this song

I wish there where more bands like this

  • This movie is more closer to Skynyrd than Zeppelin...

  • no i will not rate and comment

  • @motleycrue24 That counts as a comment

  • @orangebowl79 DAMN!!

  • yea

  • Pearl Jam's Mike McCready plays the lead guitar!

  • Everyone is saying that it's like listening to Zeppelin, I think that the Allmen Brother is closer.

  • awesome..too bad they didn't actually record an album for the movie...that would have been sick

  • I love this song. Is this a real group. Fell in love with this song when I seen Almost Famous

  • @LaurenDimplesLondon Stillwater was a real band but not the same one shown in Almost Famous.

  • Almost Famous is freaking awesome :)

  • @TheJennyShow1 yeah it rules

  • Sounds like an original 70 classic band

  • kinda levee intro of zeppelin on this one.

  • @jamirosmajicrocks You're damn right! :D

  • @jamirosmajicrocks yesss definitley

  • @jamirosmajicrocks Who gives a shit? does that make them less original? does that mean that if the chord Am is used in one song years ago, it is taboo today?

  • @akj8 Not that it is a rip off (i mean if your talking about Zeppelin already.) just similartie.

  • @jamirosmajicrocks sounds like where the river goes from STP too!

  • @jamirosmajicrocks sounds like where the river goes from STP too. also the bass by itself sounds like seek and destroy on binge and purge

  • @jamirosmajicrocks well the whole movie is based on the led zep bio Hammer of the Gods.

  • @jamirosmajicrocks yeah. You're right. It does doesn't it.

  • @jamirosmajicrocks Hey I was going to post that. Good to know there are still people in this world that know good Rock n Roll.

  • now this has some groove to it.

  • This is so groovy... my friend showed me a Ted Nugent song that sounds so much like this... =D

  • @Ringosgal78 Stranglehold?

  • @myvydz I see what you mean!
