  • this is awsome i bet she loves you :D my horses will do things like jump walk trot lope stop and come when they are free just on a voice command but no realy fancy stuff lol

  • umm why did you give away or want to give away that wonderful horse??? answer plzz

  • @esbeidy213

I would NEVER EVER give her away! ;-)

  • well done dear

  • Amazing.

  • Oooh super! It almost looks like the horse is training herself!

  • unbelievable

    love that

  • You can do the same thing with a dog!

  • Oh really now? Well why don't you show me. Upload a video of YOU teaching a dog a piaffe or the passage!

  • omg that is amazing!! I'm starting basic horsemanship with my little 2 yr old arab soon, she is very keen to learn and picks things up very quickly...also what a stunning mare!

  • that is the mark of true horsemanship!! I am very impressed. keep of the good work!! she is so beautiful and she was paying attention the whole time!

  • wow thats cool! good training well done :) my horse can free lunge and follow me and simple stuff but thats bout it lol.

haha when she was bowing i thought she was gunna fall on her head and i was like nooooo lift your head lift your head lol then she did and i was like ooo few lol she wouldnt have hurt herself cos she was going so slow so it would have been kinda funny if she did, though glad she didnt :)

  • wonderful, how did you do that??

  • That is really neat. She is really pretty and good. How did you train her to do that by command other than b.eing on her. I want to train my own horse like that even though she is already 9 years old.

  • i got a shetlandspony that's 15, and i learning him thing's like theese, age and breed doesent matter, although some horses got more dificulties whit dressage, becouse they are built for something else, but its still posible to learn them

  • stupendo...sei davvero bravissima....bravo il cavallo sopratutto!!

  • Great job!!! Awesome Horse!!

  • Lovely! Do you know of/are apart of NHE or AND?

  • Its a wonderfull horsie! I love how he acts

  • She!

  • 0:45 why is him with the ears back? looks angry ...

  • ugh! they should just keep their clueless mouth SHUT!

  • I dont understand why people always comment on video's like there bad! It's annoying. Things like training video's are ment for people to enjoy and the people in the video's kniow the horse and its personality better then anyone else. so, why do people always comment telling the person who posted it their doing something wrong? i dont get it!

  • Mot of those are clueless little girs who think they know an animal they have never had prolonged experiences with.

  • This is Gabor S?

  • Yes, it's a nice horse and yes she listen very well. But the big question is does the horse love it to do??? Position off the ears....

  • You should read the whole thread for an answer...

  • @cheneda In this case, that's an extremely simple question to answer because the horse is 'free'. If she really hated it, or even disliked it, she could easily just stand there... ;)

  • really cool, love the video, this horse must really trust you and she's absoulotly beautiful! You are good!

  • this sooo BEAUTIFUL she is amazinggggggggg and soooo PRETTY and delicate great video

  • Hello,

I love what you did with your horse! I am getting my first horse in a few weeks. I was wondering where you are located, so you could teach my horse to do some of those thing!

  • Lovely

  • good job. nice horse

  • WOW that was fantastic!

  • wow this is some amazing stuff. it was a joy to watch you work with your horse.

  • your horse is beautiful and such a great listener!

  • AWESOME!

    CONGRATULATIONS! :)

  • What song is this ??? Oh , you have an amazing horse

  • wow that horse was amazing

  • What song is this? Plz reply!

  • "mothers journey" from the film "good by lenin" by Jan Tiersen

  • totally stunning :)

a joy to watch, horse and trainer had an amazing bond!

    the horse was gorgeous too!

  • this is soo cool! My horse wouldn't be able to do that unless I took years to get him there :( he is an ex racehorse and was on the track untill he was 9 so all he knows how to do is run really fast to the left :(

  • WOW! Thats amazing!

  • Great video! I am a pastor who spoke on meekness to our church a while back. I showed this video in the context of meekness being submitted strength and not "weakness." As I showed this video, tears streamed from the crowd.

    Thanks!

    Matthew 5:5

  • I noticed that islaislush mentioned 'they are not natural movements for a horse...that's all. ' and would like to say that if you have ever watched horses in a feild you would know these were natural movements, my Holly does spanish walk when she is confused and Berty did the most beautiful passage the first time he met Cheyenne the donkey and as for Boo's leg yeilds when he gets a spook . . . need I go on? this is lovely work with the horse

  • Rescue horses in Nebraska (Buffalo County, USA) need donors / adopters / good homes ASAP (references required!). Please spread the word / contact me for more info, thanks!

  • yep:)

  • so how do you expect the trainer to "force" the horse to do something "unnatural" without laying a hand on the horse, i think you do not understand the point of these training exercises

  • What is that called at 0.50 of this video? Is it called like prancing or something? lol! This is really cool and inspiring! No but really what is it called when a horse does that?

  • Well i do this with my morgan and my arabian and they thinks its fun and a game when i turn them out into the pasture they will go these movements as a game or playing with one another they really like the funny trot but you got to remember all horses are different and have different personalities and horses dont always like these movements and will not do them but horses that do do that think its ok to move that way

  • What is this song or piano music called? It's good dressage music. BTW you have a really nice lookin horse

  • wow, that's amazing!!!

  • i find this a little screw loose to but you have to remember this is natural movement for a horse. If it wasnt natural people wouldnt do it to these horses- it would be unkind. all this is, is someone becomeing " one" with the horse and teaching natural movements as tricks thats all. Thjis is good for the horse because a horse will never be domesticated as long as they live they will always be wild but for this horse it is being trustworthy of the human.

  • then you should never ever again watch TV because it not natural and "wild humans" never did it...in other words: you need not do things for centuries to like them....and stuff like lyeing down, rearing, sidepass, piaffe etc. are shown by wild horses as well...just without somebody gives them rewards for doing so

  • wow amazing I like it :)

  • That is truely marvelous! I'm working with a Thoroughbred that may have a Dressage potential, you don't happen to have any tips up your sleeves do you?

  • no, every horse is diffent. Can`t give tips because I don`t know the horse .

  • Contd -->

I've been volunteering at a horse rescue and have a very shy young Connemara whom I want to teach some liberty. Any suggestions on how to start? Send me a PM via website:)

  • ...long walks in the countryside...that she gets trust and learns that working with you is fun. Start with very easy things like: halt or backwards and praise her for every tiny step she does as you want it.

  • Excellent job with the mare! Movements need improvement, but she seems to look very optimistic while doing different elements :) Reminds me of Nevzorov's chestnut mare Lipisina in a way :) By the way who's technique are you using? Or self-invented?

  • She cannot move better- she is an arab;-) but that isn`t important for me....it is just for fun! there is no technique- just the way all beings learn things- really nothing special.

  • aww that was soo cute at 52 secs.

  • This is amazing! This is the 60th time I have watched it!!! How do you do that? Can you post another video?!

  • thats amazing

  • I love that how do u do it ^^ shes amazing and she seems relax and loving to do it other wise she wouldn't be concentrating ^^

  • Pinned ears alone does not mean that a horse is uncomfortable or unhappy. You have to look at the ears in context of the rest of the horses body motion. Ear pinning can also mean that the horse is contemplating what is wants to do. After the ear pinning since the horse goes through the motions of what it has learned freely i seriously doubt that it is unhappy.

  • What is this song called I love it!

  • "Mothers journey" from the soundtrack of "Good by Lenin" by Jan Tiersen

  • if you all look at frame 1:04 there is a whip in her left hand

  • it is! And I always use a whip to show her the way (when you look at 1:10 there you can see it also)...she knows what to do, when the whip is in front of me, behind me or next to her. It works like a carrot stick ;-) And about the ears ...please read comments further back...it is quite boring to discuss the same thing a hundred times.

  • I was looking for you to answer people a little more straight forward.

"it works like a carrot stick" is deceptive language for a whip. Pat is quite the marketing man. Pinned ears are clear signal of DISCOMFORT doing that particular movement or RESENTMENT. In the world of Dressage ( which I'm sure your well versed by the movements) scores would plummet.

I'd love to see a future video because you are an advanced horseman.

    Still nicely done.

Just a DVM with an opinion.

  • of course "carrot stick" is only an other name for somethink like a whip, but you use it in an other way. And, the ears have nothing to do with comfort or happyness- pleas look at the videos in my links (under more information) nearly all free working horses I know have the ears back....funny enough, my mare has the ears straight forward, when she is ridden with curb in a dressage. Do you really think, she is more happy with a bit? I doubt that.

  • By the way...you can see the same thing in the "lorenzo-vid" (one of the links). When the mares are free, the ears are back and with bits in the mouth (the same horses) have the ears foreward. As I work in animal behaviour science I know that scientists would be happy to have such a clear signal about happyness of horses ...but when you look at truly unhappy horses (for example during transport) you will not find ears pinned back.

  • ..whereas you can find ears back in really happy horses ...e.g. young horses playing in the field...when they are chasing each other, they often have the earspinned back.

  • Just curious...how would you explain the pinned ears? Indicates not happy performing?

  • at :20 is that the Spanish walk?

  • Wow, this video is amazing. that horse is beautiful, i wish i could get my arabian mare that trained!

  • Oh my gosh!!!

  • omg that is amazing...he is soo beautiful and graceful!! i wish my horse could do that..ive tryed but shes only good for dressage and jumping lol...well done with training that horse mind :)

  • wow my horse will listen to me when i do ground work with him but how do you get them to lie down

  • amazing.... o_o

  • I must say: WOW! How did you do that? I mean, your horse was so focused, it's amazing!

  • i love tha bit at 0:20

  • Very impressive!!!!

  • omg I'm so in love!

  • That is amazing. is she one of those arabs that have a few thouroughbreds in their ancestry? she doesnt look egyptian arab and shes chestnut, most egypt arabs are gery cause its the most prized colour in arabia

  • she is purebreed arab-egyptian and polish breed. She is chestnut like her grandfather Ibn Galal from El Zarah

  • huh, not bad. i spend a lot of time doign endurance with egb, and most egb horses are beautiful grey egyptian arabians with dippy faces. from some angles this one looks a little like my mare, also a chestnut arab. except at the moment mine has a big fluffybit in between her eyes

  • Brujanegra, your horse is having a lot of fun! What a cutie! I love doing liberty with my horse and have had the luck to be able to work with some classical masters. Don't worry about what other says, they are clearly displaying an incredible amount of ignorance (the idea that you beat you horse nearly made me wet myself with laughter). Your horse is clearly relaxed, for the uninitiated, ears back is back is also a sign of concentration. Keep on having fun!

  • This is awesome I wouldn't worry what anyone thinks about this because most horses don't even pay no attention to you when they could go do what they want since she don't have anything on her for you to hold her with. Also riding bare back and at night can help your trust ;]

  • wow this is awesome [;

  • Excellent work.

  • OMG!!

wow! i cant even get the horse im working with to turn with me and use lead rope!!

    thats amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that is absolutely amazing

  • thats so amazing i LOVE horses i wish i new how to do that your awesome!!

    p.s.

    im kitsuneru's friend :)

  • honestly some people are so silly. how does she not look happy, if its her ears then the reason they arent foward is because she is probably listening to her owners voice and also their ears go back when they are concentrating. if she wasnt happy her ears would be flat back and also would not do as she is told. i think your amazing. and your relationship with your horse is stunning! well done :)

  • hm,nic ebut....the horse dosent look happy one bit, what kind of training method did you use?

  • wow, im speechless......wow!

  • the horse dose not look to happy to do those tricks....

did you beat him while training?

  • of course, every time...that`s why SHE stays with me, though she could run out to the other horses.

  • hmmmmm

yeah, she's not runing because she knows if she dose so...she'll get beat up again, when you'll catch her.

    right?

  • a clever horse would try to avoid the catching then. Do you really think my horse is so stupid that she comes to me, despite I beat her when she does so. You seem to be a "real" expert...

  • It just goes to show how smart a horse really is! Nice work. This takes a lot of time to build confidence. After they trust you anything is possible.

  • oh my gosh, this is absolutely AMAZING.

how long did it take you to do this?

  • hi i was woundering how you make a horse prance i cant make my morgan hors prance for some reson

  • awsome!

  • OMG!!! WOW!!! i'm speechless!!! that was soooo AWESOME!!!! very pretty!!! GREAT JOB! :)

  • wow she is beauty

wish i could train mine the same way

  • omg how did u do that????? were did u get the time???lol!!!!! that is a beutifull horse what is its name?????? i am going to train my horse some day......

  • How the hell do you get your horse to do this?

  • wow.

    this is inspiring and amazing.

beautiful song, what is it called?

  • Oh Whoa. Thats amazing, just one question, why did she have her ears back like she was mad a couple of times. ? :| 8-) Gorgeous horse by the way. :)

  • wow shes beautiful

  • This video is so beautiful.

    It´s so amazing !

Sorry for my bad english :)

  • i can't even begin to comprehend how you'd go about training a horse like that.

    It's incredible!

  • Nice video, beautiful horse!!

  • that video is inspiring, now i want to go train my horse to do that! What is that beautiful piano song playing called? great video <3

  • That`s what it should do. Thanks for the comment and good luck with your horse. The song is called "mothers journey" from the soundtrack of "Good by Lenin"

  • wow that was amazing!

  • omg beautiful if only everyone could do that

  • great vid!

  • anyone could do it,takes patience though

  • anyone who knows about horse behaviour, knows about how horses lern and who can recognise the horses abilities and talents...and jep, who has a lot of patience and who can restrain emotions like anger and frustations, when something doesn`t work like it should.

  • I whould love to go and see her if so show her and her horse!! that whold be so cool!!!!!

  • amazing! wow :o

  • amazing ! beautiful horse...

  • beautiful horse, she reminds me sooo much of a horse I used to know

  • how do you teach a horse this? it all looks so confusing

  • WWOONNDDEERRFFUULL!!

  • AMAZING!!!!!

  • Such a graceful mare, those eyes-the color- are you sure she is yours? SHE'S OUGHT TO BE MINE!!

  • Beautiful!! Wish I could get my horse as half as good as yours is! Amazing!!

  • Wow, all of that in freedom! ö

Wonderful horse you have there! And you must be good and very patience :)

  • She is so good.

  • wow. amazing job : D she's beautiful. are you a proff. trainer?

  • wow that was awesome!

  • hey i am a horse trainer and if you need any tips feel free to message me!

  • amg. that horse is beautiful!!!

  • wow, you've done an amazing job with her. I don't think I'd have the patience to do that.

  • Wow what a graceful mare and good training there! I've done this once or twice and i'm getting the hand of it, i'm not making a hobby from it though :)

  • Wow ♥

    How is the music called?

  • Beautifull horse and music

  • Pretty horse :3

  • soo pretty!! what is the name of this song?

  • My goodness, why do people have to be insulting and negative with their postings! I surely don't see any of your videos of your trained horses!!! It just isn't good character upon yourselves to act like that....FYI

ANY GOOD trainer KNOWS that GW is the most important thing to accomplish BEFORE you ever get in a saddle. THAT makes for a more willing horse!

  • absolutly amazing.. beautiful..i only wish i had half the patience you do to train your horse that way!

  • Uhhhh, this is all well and nice, but what does she do under saddle. For heaven sake, ground work in important, but if I'm going to pay for a trainer, I want to see what your horses can do with a rider.

  • i like the video...ut the music sounds really sad

  • show us the same on a couple of different horses then ..... then I will be impressed -.-

  • man all my horse would do is put his head down and eat

  • you are the beast

    it is very vice

    ما شاء الله

  • how do u train ur horse to do that high walking thingy?

  • such a beautiful horse, her legs are very graceful

  • I love horses and I want to be one when I grow up!!!

P.S. I love the song it is pretty P.S.Again I love horses alot!!!

  • I want to be a horse trainer really bad and i love horses soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomuch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You all need to get your facts straight.

"Licking Lips The Change From Right To Left-Brain

Signs like licking of lips, blinking eyes and lowering the head are all good indicators that your horse is thinking or down-loading an idea, hence using his left-brain. When the left-brain takes over a gain the head will lower, the eyes will start to blink, his body will relax, he will lick his lips."

  • Sorry, but you should not beliefe in this non-scientific crap. There are scientific studies about lip-licking, and it is clearly a sign of stress. Horses who are "treated" with the "join-up- method" show heart rates like race horses before start!!!

  • wowsers! and horseshoegirl, liplicking is a sign of stress, hence why it signals submissiveness...

  • I do not agree with horsehowgirl but she is right, lip licking (mouthing) is a sign of acceptance. GEt your facts right before you comment

  • bravo

    c'est super, j'admire beaucoup =)

c'est quoi Le Nom de la chanson ?

    Merci & BOnne COntinuation

  • wooow, how do you do that!?

  • WOW! That is Amazing!

  • WOW, COULD YOU WRITE A BOOK?

  • wow your horse really looks great. quick learner i see, but he must have an amazing trainer! ;). haha. You really taught him well, great work, he looks beautiful. are you into dressage riding?

  • You and your horse have a wonderful bond. Awesome video.

  • wow, beautiful vid! how'd you learn to teach your horse?

would love an arabian. I have a weslh cob and pony, they're both quite quick at picking things up, but it takes a while for them to remember in following sessions, until they really learn it. even so I can't do half the stuff in this vid...!

  • Amazing horses and horsemanship. Where did you learn this? Perhaps you could help me.

  • this doesnt suprise me arabians are very samrt!

  • omg XD tell me about it!!! I set out to teach mine shoulder in yestarday and he got it in like five minutes! I was like....well what do I do NOW?! XD

  • ya i kno! i tought mi arabian to jump in like 5 minutes lol!

  • for a minute i thought you had my arabian mare.. she looks just like yours..

    who is she out of?

  • very beautiful

  • oo sweeet :)

  • I love the trick at 1:12
