Interesting it looks good when done by people with shorter legs and longer torsos.

It's because there is an emphasis on quick snappy leg movements(so naturally shorter legs look better doing it) and a stiffer upper body with snappy arm movements(so naturally a dancer with a longer torso would want moves that don't call for quick and snappy torso movements).
