@Syndicate8511 the Zonda R doesn't meet any of the FIA regulations, or regulations regarding any racing championship. the only way it could race in a championship is in a 1 make series, like they do with the SLR 722 race versions where they invite the owners to race them

Another issue with this test vs the Fxx is that Schumacher drove the Fxx and though a fabled driver he doesn't know the track as well as the stig , who drives that same track several times a times a week.

Put Schumacher is the Austin or the stig in the Ferrari and we would have more accurate results

I love the sound of that engine. It's saying that it's not there to give you good economy, it's not there to give you a comfortable ride and it's not there to haul around passengers and luggage. It's there simply to drag you around a race track as quickly as humanely possible. It's a two fingered salute to ecomentalists. I love it ;)

There's hardly room for the DBR9 to stretch it's legs in the Top Gear track, it was built for Le Mans which is a low downforce track based on long straights and high speed wide corners, never mind the road going supercars, this beast would completely obliterate track-day cars like the Ultima and the Caparo around a bigger track by a lot more than just 1 or 2 seconds.

The exact Aston Martin in this video raced with the Corvette C6.R in the GT1 category at Le Mans, the Corvette completely dominated not only this Aston Martin but the whole GT1 category for six years. And with a few exceptions the roadgoing ZR1 has pretty much destroyed all supercars around the Nurburgring, all this while costing 5 times less what some of the high end supercars cost.

You're ignorance is almost as impressive as your lack of knowledge, the ZR1 is almost 3 seconds ahead of the million dollar Ferrari Enzo around the Nurburgring. It's one thing to be biased against american cars for whatever reason, but it's utterly retarded to consider the ZR1 anything but an excellent sports car with more than enough backbone to hang with any supercar you can toss its way. The R35 GTR is also an excellent car and is as good or better than the ZR1 no arguing there.
