Aya had the Combination maxed, but her attacks ended right after she does a spin on the enemy. Did you hit Tri+Cir at the last move or something?

No, just Square. the last hit of Aya's Cool Combo is the same as the Tri+Cir move, it just doesn't cost any life.

So do you need to have the Power / Health / Range maxed out in order to execute that move at the every end?

No. Only Combination.

I tried it out yesterday, but apparently it won't work out (Even in practise mode)

Aya's attack still stop after the ending wide slash.

Are you doing the entire combo as Cool Hits? (you should be seeing the white X flashes with every hit) if you mess up once, the last hit won't work and you'll have to start over from the first hit.

I was wondering if Saki has this attack too? Having the very high damage attack as the last move. Her combination is mxed too, btw.

It's not the same as Aya's, but Saki does have a high damage attack as the last move of her combo too.

Ah, I managed to make Saki's full attack work. I still couldn't lash out Aya's full attack despite trying the two of them for one and a half hour. Aya'a attack always seem to stop at the ninth. Guess I will stick to Saki for the time being...

Keep trying. If you can get Saki's to work, you should be able to do Aya's with practice.

finished the game in violence mode still hasnt done a cool combo soo how do u do it??

Attack, then hit square during the hit frames of that attack, again and again for each attack. There are videos around showing how its done.

sorry to bug you again lol but still getting problems, is it possible to open the gates on the easy level? i've tried for a good 1/2hr and still cant get it.. even when doing a few CC's -.- (you see an X if it does a CC yes?) does the character need a high combo level?

You need to level up the "Combination" skill. The gates will only open when you do the combo perfectly. If you do it perfectly and it still doesn't open, then you need to level up so you can do more cool hits in one combo.

i've recently started playing this game, but never could seem to open the gates so i left them.. is there a specific thing for each gate i need to do to open them or do complete cool combos?

I need help! After dealing with the upgrade system I managed to have a Full combination gauge, vitality and power, and the half of Range (What's it's use anyway?). 'I can do Aya's full combo, hitting in the yellow bar in the practice mode but it's the same combo like in your video but the last hit isn't with that streght (as if you hit triangle+circle) it's not with that power... what am I doing wrong??

I dunno...maybe the sword is too bloody? Hits do less damage the bloodier the sword is. Also I think I did this video on a lower difficulty setting, so enemies had less HP. Otherwise I have no idea.

Man, i got a long way to go before i can into one of thoses gates, im obviously rubbish at combo'ing XD and the size of the experience orbs your getting compaired to the ones i get make me feel quite lame at the game ^^;

i guess your at a high level though possibly, im only at about 35 with Aya and Rekio,

are there any really good places or ways to train up characters levels?

In this game, leveling up isn't so much about finding a good place as it is about being able to combo well. Specifically, being able to do Aya's full Cool Combo. (you said you have trouble comboing, that's what you've got to work on) Once you can do Aya's Cool Combo consistently, you'll rack up the huge experience orbs really fast. (Saki's combo works too, but Aya's seems to reap the most experience orbs, and the final hit of her combo has the best range/damage potential)

Sorry, but I don't have Oneechanbara Voretx (only Oneechanpon) so I can't record any videos of it. However, there are people who have recorded videos of Vortex on Youtube.

This game looks very nice, but looks very easy too. No zombie can attack the player.

It is easy compared to other action games, but can still be tough if you aren't careful, especially in later boss fights.

The zombies CAN attack the player, it's just because I was playing on Violent difficulty, their attacks can really kill you fast if you actually get hit, so I was avoiding around them most of the time. Also, since Aya is invincible during the last hit of her cool combo, one of their attacks didn't hit, but it would've if I had messed up the cool combo.

Actually, Zombie Hunters 2 came out recently over in Europe (I think it released in June, after having already been out for a year in Japan, no American release though.) I don't have it, because I'm just fine playing the Japanese version.

Yeah, the PAL version of the game is. (it was also translated into English) The upgraded versions are called Zombie Hunters and Zombie Hunters 2 (The Oneechanpon is Zombie Hunters 2)
