  • you do decline chest flys?

  • Its funny seeing these pussy know it alls saying he has bad form and shit. when they have prob never benched more than 170 and dont know shit about powerlifting. They prob sit in there basements and jackoff all day to there mommas computer and read textbooks thinking they know the "science" behind it. sorry guys but yall are some dick suckers!

  • i know this may be asking a lot but i wanna get a lot stronger on bench, squat and deadlift. Could u post the make up of ur workouit with rep numbers and estimated percentages?

  • beautiful form bro and huge weight, but whats with the touch and go?

  • strong dude.

  • Good lifts man. Your a young dude so be careful with this shit. And whatever you put into your body. Impressive.

  • YEAH FEAR FACTORY

  • Nice lifting, don't pay attention to some of these moron Pencil necks that weigh less than my dog, that is some Elite lifting.

  • FUCKING FULL OF ROIDS

  • I have a question. What exactly does arching your back like that do to help? I don't understand what it does to help a bench.

  • @BRonny70

Keeps you tighter on the bench and squeezes your shoulder blades together and helps you incorporate more muscle groups into the lift like your lats. Also decreases the range of motion on the lift and takes a lot of stress off your pecs vs benching flat back.

  • @EricLilliebridge Right i am 21years old 154lb and my best bench is 375lb ! That means pound for pound i am stronger than you and "drugfree" ! Your 260lbs ! .

And not only that but my dad who is now 59 years old also did 507lb bench press RAW at 56years old after having a heart attack 3 years before and lung disease and now he is 59years old and still got 485lb up . Go fuck your self mate your a cheater fucking back is arched that much you can build a fucking house under it

  • @MrMeanley Want a cookie? Nobody cares what you are lb for lb, and good luck ever getting close to 260 lbs. People want to see big numbers, not a 154 lb french fry. Keep on taking your cell tech "MrMeanley, maybe you'll hit a solid 175 one day, don't forget your nitro tech to stack with.

  • @ldbaker42 Sounds me baker you dont no anything about bench press and pound for pound lifting . MrMeanley's channel has a 59 year old man lifting 507lb//220kg , and a 11stone//154lb man lifting 375lb//170kg . what videos do you have ?? what benchs have you done ?? thats right fuckall !!!

  • @MrMeanley Do you want a motherfucking cookie asshole?

  • @MrMeanley Rightfully impressive, but think about this: thousands of people know the name 'Eric Lilliebridge' and even more know of the Lilliebridge family....Who knows your name?

  • @EricLilliebridge does that arch in your back transfer the stress of the press into your back instead of your pecs?

  • @BRonny70 Once you get the form down it makes it easier. Typically your lower pecks can move a lot more weight. At tons of competitions this wouldn't be allowed. Also, only body builders do it like this. Pro NFL players and other athletes do not bench like this.

  • @eyeofth3b3hold3r Bodybuilders do not do it like that...Bodybuilders ar concerned with muscular hypertrophy and symmetry, there they want a full range of motion allowing maximum coctraction. Powerlifters are concerned with positioning their body's (different for each person) for the best leverage and 1RM strength (typically shortest ROM)...

  • Jesus Christ at the fucking haters on this board. If you are a recreational curl bro who benches with a flat back in the gym once a month, for the love of God, shut the fuck up. He's using absolutely perfect, textbook powerlifting form.

Dude, absolutely sick power. Great work.

  • @ascassady

agreed lol.. but most of these ingorant retards on here are clueless about powerlifting form and technique... it's taken me so many years of training to finally get my form down perfect on all 3 of my lifts.

  • What hurts the most the next day your "chest" or your "back" haha . But cant get it away from you your strong but that thing your doing with your back and feet is no good dude .

  • @MrMeanley

I actually don't have any pain at all. The only thing that ever "hurts" my back would be near limit deadlifts or squats. And thanks for the information on the bench dude i had no idea you knew so much!..... when you're ranked # 2 in the nation in your weight class then maybe i'll think about listening to some advice from you.. haha.

  • @EricLilliebridge Epic, get em Eric !

  • @EricLilliebridge lol love the sarcasm. like most of these "youtube experts" accomplished enough to give advice.

  • @MrMeanley why are you getting so angry? calm down. so what if he has an arch? its technique.. and the use of drugs? u called him a cheater for that? he competes in un tested feds so thats considered fair because hes competing against others that are also using drugs. also, does it matter lb for lb if yer stronger? whats your squat and deadlift? bench press is not a true test of strenght, btw. and also why are you talking about your dad? what did that have to do with anything? Troll.

  • please take care of your spine! bench records are cool, but not having back pain when your 50 is much better!

  • 19? lol...I was at least 30 before the roids made me that bald.

  • @benchaffleck

Sucks for you man, i still have a full head of hair. It's called a razor buddy, that's what makes my head "bald" ... thanks for the assumption though! Just makes you look like an even bigger jackass than you already are :)

  • @EricLilliebridge Don't pull the wool over my eyes. I can see your hairline. But don't worry, all the beasts are bald, and relax your ego shouldn't be hurt by all the people busting your balls on Youtube.

  • @benchaffleck

My hairline is just fine, no difference from when i was 13 years old until now, i've been shaving my head for the past 5 years. When you come off with a dumbass comment like that, i have no choice but to reply back especially since you don't have a clue.

  • penis = xmas tree light.....just joking good shit buddy

  • Hatebreed fucking rules. And nice lift man. Sick.

  • Sick fucking benching man! Perfect arch, entire body looks coiled and tight, all without even a belt. Sick ass Raw bench! For all the RETARDS talking shit on this video, they have no idea, this is what HARD WORK does for a person, it's easy to throw out steroids accusations, that's what all the lazy weak losers in the world say to make themselves feel better.

  • Are you pretending to be a hydraulic car?

  • was that zero signal at 2:15 playing from the mortal kombat sound track?

  • What are your totals? Are you elite yet?

  • and benches 530 lbs

  • who the fuck weighs 260 at nineteen years old?

  • @TheProdigy7777 fat kids and this freak of nature. lol.

  • @dan13718 dude chill out. you troll on all these exercise videos not showing any ounce of knowledge. you are only perpetuating hate. you really need to see someone that can make you happy.

  • Doesn't that fuck up your back?

  • Nice lifting.

BTW, I love how everyone who can't press 400 or more either a) makes the tired steroid accusation, or b) criticizes his bench technique - which is correct - even though they know nothing about how to lift properly.

  • this guy is gunna be one of the best powerlifters one day, mark my words

  • Damn that's good but looks painfull

  • @dan13718 no, steriods and supplements are for those who are willing to give up themselves to be the best of the best. clearly, this guy is one of the best raw powerlifters today. enough said.

  • Love the workout music man, that's good shit. Anyone who has worked with competition lifters has seen that form before. It's not uncommon...

  • im a lil lost how does this form help? it kina looks like it wud hurt?does this help carry more?

  • What did you bench at 16 mate?

  • You must be one of the storngest benchers in the world at your age and size.

  • haha wow... one of the strongest benchers I've seen especially that young. One of the best forms too. I have two questions, first how do you train to get your arch better ?(I'm working on mine). Second, how are you driving your feet? With your toes? or trying to push heels to the ground?

  • 19??? and a lil use of testooo??

  • Raw broken back

  • dude, you are beast mode ! nice bench an ignore all the haters

  • thats a weird way to bench imma try it

  • Your dad giving you the bar must help mentally.

  • It would be more impressive if you didnt arch your back. Its really awesome that you can do that much weight 320 is all ive got but just be careful man its cool to say you bench a lot untill your back is fucked for life. Take it easy lol props though!

  • @protoballa07 Arching your back like that is actually the best way to avoid injuries when going heavy. If you keep your ass on the bench, the level of stress on your back remains totally fine during the lift, and that angle is best for your rotor cuff to avoid injuries. If you're not a powerlifter then your arch doesn't need to be as extreme as his, but you should always arch your back when benching (while keeping the butt on the bench of course) to keep your rotor cuff at the optimal angle

  • sick lifts dude.

  • @ mrmag1cc in this video hes 19 i train with him dont be jealous that he is stronger than youand @ diamondRKOCutter explain how this is fail form for me? shoulders feet and ass is on the bench at all times? do you know the rules of powerlifting or are you some bodybuilder pussy who thinks they know what they are talking about?

  • Comment removed

  • 19 yr olds my ass

  • great video. you find that much of an arch bothers your lower back at all? not at all critisizing just curious. let me know. bj's a pussy haha!

  • i agree uber fail form

  • i hope im this strong by 19. im doing 465 right now at 16. so we shall see.

  • @xBiGxKiNGx Sure u are.

  • @mrmag1cc i have a video of me doing 455 easy on my profile. i did 460 2 times today. just tell me when you want me to video one of my bench workouts and i will.

  • I am jealous, and I can admit it. This kids set up is absolutely flawless. I see many people knocking it, please recognize this kid is a powerlifter, not a bodybuilder. For a powerlifting set up, it gets no better than this. You should learn something from this man and stay quiet, kids like this almost literally do not exist. This is the result of years of work, and to tear that down with a 10 second written comment is almost criminal. Most people NEVER sniff this level of strength.

  • i wanna see you bench that weight without the arch's in your back.... but good lifts though.....

  • best genetics as far as families go

  • Oh and if you lift without ppl to shadow or spot you your nuts. When I spot I put my hands on the bar because I dunno if you have seen ppl drop the weight right off their hands and on their face or stomach. I never grab the bar unless the bar goes down quit hating cuz he's stronger than you.

  • Eric your form is better than anyone I have seen and to the cock sucker below me is just jealous because he's a pussy haha. Fyi eric its seaver.

  • Good work. I am about to hit 2x bw bench. But I don't weigh anything near you. Still under 200 lbs but gaining. Hope to weigh as much as you some day.

  • @YouCantBenchTheBar

hahaha what the hell are you talking about it's not a RAW benchpress? I'm not wearing a bench shirt you moron, actually, i'm not even wearing a t-shirt. And that's pretty funny... because this form i'm using, is by far one of the BEST forms you can use for raw benching. Don't be so quick to judge and try to bash on my videos because you sir have no idea of what you're talking about. My ass never left the bench once and i've gotten my benches passed in every meet i've done.

  • @EricLilliebridge you still look ridiculous.

  • @YouCantBenchTheBar This is actually top quality form for this style of lifting. Rules state butt and upper back must touch the bench and they do. The extreme arch places the lifter in good position for a maximal lift. Of course this is not the style that most people would normally do in casual training. Most people would find this form very difficult; but then they're not training to compete for maximal lifts. Very strong extension on all lifts indicates great strength and focus.

  • @YouCantBenchTheBar , his technique is good. A lot of world's top benchers use this technique (check out Laszlo Meszaros ). I have tried this technique but it doesn't work for me. Strong kid for 19, that's for sure.

  • @YouCantBenchTheBar it looks like his ass is on there. yep, pretty sure the shoulders are on there. and well, feet never left the ground. looked just like ,ost powerlifters style benching with a high back arch.

  • why do you position your back like that?

  • big power that dont fade. right on. i would want the spot to

  • Awesome! Keep up the good work and keep posting videos so the jealous little queers can get on here and try to take away from the work you are putting into achieve the awesome numbers you are putting up. Most people criticize because they are either too lazy to put in the effort you do or are uneducated on what you are doing. Either way you are doing good things for the power lifting community.

  • that guy needs to get his fuckin hands off the bar. Not taking anything away from your strength. "I'm just shadowing." LOL

  • @JS8700

Yup, he's just shadowing the bar, thanks for noticing that he said that, as i can see for some odd reason you think he's helping me? LOL.... i've done over 500 pound benches in the gym and in competition. When i'm approaching near limit lifts, especially with barely any spotters, i'm going to have his hands as close to the bar as possible. Oh... and that "guy" is my dad you idiot.

  • @EricLilliebridge Well... "idiot" (very mature for 20 years old), I know that's your dad...I don't give a fuck if it's Santa Claus, there's no reason for his hands to be all over the bar your whole workout. Is there a special father-son lifting rule I'm unaware of? And I also wrote, "Not taking anything away from your strength"... so you can't read either.

  • @JS8700 Are you stupid or what. I am sure you can push over 500 without any spotters but not everyone is as awsome as you. If you don't know what you are talking about please don't criticize people....having someone shadow the bar in training is actually a brilliant idea in case you tear a pec or bi you need someone to grab and help....

  • @EricLilliebridge You can tell your dad only has his finger tips resting under the bar.. His forearms don't flex until you lockout your bench, and then he pulls it back into the racks. Bunch of haters man, the numbers you hit are ridiculous! And that other boner "Youcantbenchthebar" needs to shut his mouth. 0 video posts and he hacks on you? Your heels have to touch in some feds but who gives a shit, great lifting Eric!

  • @EricLilliebridge

You are a strong guy but calling people idiots means you have muscles with no class. You are headed well on the way to being egotistical if you are not already.

  • @EricLilliebridge Checkmode!

  • Good lifts. The haters on here are jealous fags that they cant probably bench their own body weight. It took me over 8 years to get past 500 lbs in the bench press but it was well fucking worth it because I didn't waste money on complicated supplements(I only used whey, joint supplements, and one recovery stack).

This type of strength is very possible without steroids. Its just that the average person is too stupid, lazy, and ignorant to realize that.

  • regardless if hes taking steroids hes still a lot stronger then you would ever be if you started taking steroids...

  • i love reading comments on amazing lifts and seeing how stupid ppl are. props eric, your a monster, dont bother replying to half these idiots. seeing this kind of strength at this age blows me away, i know what kind of dedication this takes. especially at this age when all your friends are out partying, chasing girls, and wasting their time being idiots. ive been through it, am still going through it at 22yo. keep it up, stay dedicated.

  • just wondering why your so bent??

  • @ST1NS0N3 it's called power lifting buddy. Research it.

  • You could probably pass a cow through his arch :D

Eric any tips to get bigger bench? is the arch whats giving u most of the power or generally everything ?

  • I'm calling BS on this lift man, he OBVIOUSLY has a denim bench shirt on underneath that muscle suit. all that muscle almost looks real.

  • i will definitely give you props for benching that much. but if you dont mind asking,,, how are you able to bench when your bent backwards? ive never seen anyone bench like that before..just askin. but nice video

  • Jesus christ! , if you keep this up you may kill yourself before your 30 years old, ive been training 12 years and have flat benched 405 , inclined 370 for reps @16 st. leave the juice alone because you look much older than 19 dude.

  • Holy cow! Nice lifting!

  • @EricLilliebridge strong and wish you best luck

  • oh my god that hurts my back to watch such crappy form your arch is bigger than mcdonalds which you probably eat there look at u man you need to go watch bj shreffler show you how compete against the man oil city weightlifting comp july 24 unless you r scared

  • oh my god that hurts me watching that lift i mean look at your form it totally sucks nice wrist wraps why not you come to oil city so bj can show you extreme lifting nice arc i could drive my truck under it like mcdonalds you have a big arch sad truely sad

  • lol the spoters only on the lest side??? dont you need a spoter on both sides nice lift by the way and why are you bending your ass off the bench press aint that cheatin?

  • respect.

  • nice work

  • this guy still gets props tho that's pretty fucking beast

  • im pretty sure it's not good to arch your back like that so for young lifters out there don't do it im prolly one of the strongest pound for pound lifters at my school im 16 and i weigh like 155 but i bench 230 i got a video on my page..

  • @rmo2528 CA state wrestler Arian Lucatero bench presses 325 at a bodyweight of 135 and age 16, 155 and only benching 230, you must be from a very small town either that or living in the country of Malaysia, because that is not very strong at all at 16 I did 295 at 185 lbs and was on the weaker side of the football team. sad

  • lol 19 years old and so stronng!

  • good work eric!

  • psyho holiday - Pantera

  • Really nice man, congrats on a new PR. How long have you been working out? Working on my benching as well. Havent been too focused tbh. My Goal is to do around 500. Again, impressive good work, Props from Norway

  • how come your back is so arched?

  • Its a technique

  • kool, hows it work?

it looks like it cud harm ur back? don't really know

  • just wondering when you talk about your cycle...what are you on??? Cause i want some.

  • damn fine benching

  • strong lifts bro

  • very nice.. +5

  • 550 next week :D

  • DUDE ERIC your going to dominate 550 next week!!!! shut that fucking bench press only homo up LOL

  • @EricLilliebridge oh my god that hurts my back to watch any of your videos your form sucks your arch is bigger than mcdonalds i mean look at you you eat there and it shows why not have bj show you proper form at the oil city weightlift comp unless u r scared. If you like I personally will take care of traveling arrangements for u and expenses so whats it gonna be for months all I hear is talk so put up or shut the hell up

  • impressive work man!

  • nice decline bench

  • Thanks for the pointless comment man, appreciate it!

  • are you retarded or are you just stupid by nature?

  • @impaulhii well now we know you dont know what the fuck your talking about

  • @impaulhii hahaha!!

  • wow. this is insane

  • great job Eric. that is sick!

  • good job but u need to do it in a meet and the 585 did u do it or did your dad deadliftlift it lol good luke it you meet

  • Yes, i'm well aware of that, that's why it's called "training" and i've mentioned i have a competition on the 27th more than 10 times in the past month already. And i think it's pretty obvious that i did 585 to a 3 board with no help pretty easily, i will do 600+ next time without a doubt. It's called shadowing the bar, when you have literally one spotter behind you with that much weight, i would recommend you doing that as well, shit tares and happens too fast with that amount of weight.

  • dude you destroyed that 530 nice job man

  • insane arch you have...

question: what do board presses help?

and is the meet squat bench and dead?

    can't wait for video

  • how tall r u??????and great job on the p.r. good luck in ur meet

  • such a beast

  • Excellent lifting

  • Super strong bro - I love it. Great progress.

    Keep the impressive vid's rolling....

    Good luck at your contest!

    5 stars easy...

  • how long before comps do you stop the backdown high rep sets?

  • I do them all the way until the week before the meet. My last bench day is always 10 days out before the meet. So for instance i bench every wednesday and the week before my meet, that wednesday will be March 17th and my meet is on March 27th, so i have a good 10 days to heal up.

  • how much rest do you give squats and deads?

  • great lift dude. Keep the good shit up!

  • bro, you are not human. that is f*cking ridculous. whats your bench routine like? and what assistance workouts do you do? good lift bro.

  • Thanks man! After benching i do inclines, dumbell pec flys to blast my upper and inner pecs and then i'll usually do tricep cable push downs.
