Now after study of this piece I can say with complete confidence that the fingering in this version is totaly bogus.

I'm not saying it's incorrect because this guitarist may prefure this particular fingering

What I'm sayin is that what makes it bugus in my view is that starting at the top of the neck and attempting to make the jump to say 12th fret is a violation of economy playing.

aka not wrong , just not the a wise fingering choice in my opinion

Ibanez has a 770 re-issue, BUT it is based on the 1987 model...too bad.

That's a harpsichord (well its a synthesizer imitating a harpsichord). It's the instrument Bach would have originally played the piece on. I think it gives a nice blend of the old with the new. Kudos to you, Slowfingered
