I consider "man" to be a purely physical thing to be. I'd describe you as male, and as a he, but I wouldn't class you as a man, because by a purely physical, biological definition, you don't meet the criteria. I don't consider myself a bigot over this, because I have no qualms about you living as a transman. Do you think it makes me a bigot?
I completely agree that working out makes you more grounded and feel better. I'm bio female and when i say i want to be strong and have a toned muscles a lot of people wince and think of the female body builders (i don't want to insult any female body builders, but as far as i know its not very healthy to be that muscly for men or women), but for me, its what keeps me feeling sane and on top of the stressful things in my life :)
@Chasrick2 chaz is fat because of image issues, genetics, living in the shadow of a mother who is so image conscious, poor eating habits and yes, testosterone.
I just wanted to say that as a trans woman, we need to avoid the images you mentioned a bit more than before. Out culture seems to be obsessed with objectifying the female body, and it can be hard being on the other side of that when starting out.
Buck you Rock!! Always so positive and full of great information. I look forward to your website. I am started T over weight due to swallowing my depression. Although I have not dropped a huge amount of weight, I have not gained weight either. I work a very labor intensive job and have been putting on muscle.
Buck, thank you so much for this video!!! In my opinion it is your best video so far. I really feel inspired to go running again. I have always felt great after running but I really needed a kick in the ass to do what I know is good for me.
Thanks so much for this vid.. very personally presented. Im not on T yet but as a female body im pretty short and always on the thin side about 105lbs. I have my idea of how I want to look when I begin my journey, i dont know how to gain weight now but it will be interested to see how my body responds to foods/workouts when i begin taking T.
Happy New year Buck (huge fan here), i think body image is sometimes a harsh subject in my particular case: i´m a gay man and i´m not exactly the ideal "perfect muscular type", in fact i´m quite average---sometimes i feel kinda outsider in matter of pysical aspects. I really apreciate your videos because they are nice and useful not just to FTM males also for people in general. Hug

@Chasrick2 i think chaz unfortunately has body image issues. the male hormones add to his weight but i think it's more of a deep rooted issue.

Excellent video, I've noticed Chazz Bono seemed to pick up more weights as he continued on a testosterone regimen.
