@bbykittenjanjan The old man pedophile was poor in the beginning but then his daughter Maggie who was taken to the Forsaken Fortress was given Skull Necklaces by the Moblin named Moe. He sold them at antique shops which made him rich. The other guy gave all his money to the pirates to get his daughter Mila back from the Forsaken Fortress, so he lost all his money. I hope that explains it.
