I voted for you but this Internet Censorship is the stupidest idea I have ever heard. All it will accomplish is slower internet for every one. The day internet censorship comes in every one will be posting up ways to bypass the filtering. Therefore making it even harder to catch the real offenders as every one will be accessing their internet through a anonymous proxy server. On top of this Telstra will hold an even bigger monopoly as entering the ISP market will be even harder.
Excellent work Kevin Rudd. It's good to see a prime minister who is finally down to earth and willing to communicate with their constituents through every means possible. This is a great change from the Howard years, when our government was too elitist and arrogant.
I have the utmost faith that Rudd and his team of highly competent individuals are prepared for the upcoming global economic downturn.

What most politicians forget is that the government exists to serve its people, not the other way around and how is a gay person any different from you and me?In order to allow gay marriage, that doesn't mean that you have to condone it, it just means that you give them the rights that everyone else does?

I have an idea on how to build a better Australia for the future.
For starters don't filter/censor Australia's internet.
We already have one of the worst internet services in the world, filtering will make it even worse.
People should have the right to freedom on the internet. It is up to parents to protect their children online, not the government.
If people want protection then offer them a free filter, but don't enforce it upon everyone. In doing so you will only make our internet worse.
