A freight train locomotive is about 200 tons not 20. And cars go from about 20 tons to 110 tons each loaded. Hitting that truck was like swatting a mosquito on your arm. And the train conductor was probably in the next town before he stopped the train. It might have slowed .0000000000000000000000000001 mph on impact.
