hey man, like you, my video was rejected. i'm trying to put together a page on facebook for all of us rejects in attempt for michael bay to see our work. the group is called "Epic Rejects" on facebook. check it out and sign up. pass on the word.
Hey i have the same camera... how were you able to shoot at a shutter speed of 1/300 on f4 with no gain. When i do that my image is really dark and i get a ton of noise. Can you help me out. (assuming you used the kit lens)
@reallkomo its stock lens and if you are getting a lot of noise check your "Gain" again its like the ISO so more ISO = brighter image but ton of more noise ...
shutter speed, if its still too dark that means your in a lower light situation for this camera i found that 1/30 is the lowest you want to go for filming low light
with a gain to higher than 21 has noise but acceptable amount ...
@cali9fiftyone Okay cool. Thanks for the insight. Any reason for shooting in the HQ setting rather the the higher FX. Also what are your export settings (assuming you are in Final Cut)

@reallkomo HQ smaller file sizes works out for me because i have to convert file from MTS to MP4 format at 720p to edit them properly
i use Adobe premiere to edit but i export to FLV or MOV .. with a H.264 codec keeps files small with out suffering much quality .
