Again, all at home. Now, let's look at Oklahoma's schedule, Utah State, Florida State, Air Force, and Cincinatti. Again, similar to Penn State's schedule. Texas Tech plays SMU, New Mexico, Houston, and Weber State. Oregon plays New Mexico State, Portland State, and Tennessee. Finally, Iowa plays Eastern Illinois, Iowa State, Arizona, and Ball State. Furthermore, why even rag on PSU's schedule on the first place when we're not even going to contend for the national title or even the Big Ten?

Now, looking at other teams and their OOC schedules: Alabama plays Penn State, San Jose State, Duke, and Georgia State (who?), Florida plays Miami of Ohio, Appalachian State (uh-oh, LOL), Florida State, and South Florida, both easier than PSU's schedule. USC plays Hawaii, Virginia, Minnesota, and Notre Dame (respectable but not strong). Ohio State plays Marshall, Miami, Eastern Michigan, and Ohio all at home. Texas plays Rice, Wyoming, UCLA, and Florida Atlantic.

Now, the shit about PSU's schedule has gotten old: A list of notable PSU OOC opponents since 2000: USC, Pitt, Toledo (when they were good), Virginia, Miami (national champs that year), Nebraska, Boston College, Notre Dame, South Florida, Cincinatti, Buffalo, Oregon State, Syracuse (scheduled in 2002 after winning 10 games), and a much improved Temple. Also, we play Alabama, Virginia, and Rutgers.

The Penn State OOC schedule is brutal this year. Granted you have Alabama........but then you counter that real game with Temple, Kent State, and Youngstown State. Why does PSU have to play D-2 schools? That is embarrassing. You get credit for playing Bama....but then lose it all with those other three joke games.

@go20car Penn State has NEVER played a Division II school, although I wouldn't be surprised to see Florida or Texas Tech schedule someone like Valdosta State. By the way, Temple is no longer the joke that goes 0-12 every year. They were 9-4 last year and are looking to improve further, so that's TWO good games. Youngstown State is inexcuseable, but every team plays a Kent State. But you know, it's not like we can just schedule Florida, Alabama, Texas, and USC. These are made years in advance.
