  • i remember my big black friend that i used to smoke pot with always talked about hitting guys in the floating rib when i was talking about pressure points and kicking the knee and breaking it.. good times..

  • also Trev it would help to pick your knee up more to execute a better faster kick !

  • @DementedDegsy you need to train with me you will be lost mate

  • I am concerned you stand very flat footed and have no guard ! if your opponent is trained fighter and is quick you will get caught without any upper body defence. body swerve is good but needs to be backed up with a proper guard from the hands and arms in my humble opinion !

  • @DementedDegsy Shizen no Kamae. No design no conception. look up "go rin no sho" on stances you will not get past my Kamae

  • a broken rib can also puncture a lung, but these hits might be too low for that

  • @magnetmixer I was not about to break ribs for a youtube video!

  • thank you for sharing your knowledge on pressure points. i've tried to locate those same points on my own body. i am able to find the majority of them, but then there are some that i can't find. i was wondering if it's possible that some people may not be as sensitive at certain pressure points than the average person? if your answer to that is no, then is it possible that i may not find certain points on myself because maybe my body might be subconsciously tensing up as i am searching for them?

  • AWSOME

  • it looks so effortless........hes amazing 8l..

  • Excellent!

  • Thanks for this useful information!

a point to note: hitting the floating ribs on the opponent right side is far more dangerous than the left. that's where the liver locate. if the rib broken and puncture the liver, chances are we may end up in jail for killing someone.

  • @primagiedi Believe me the other side is much more dangerous!!! The spleen is located there and if it bleeds the victim can lose a large amount (several litres) of blood by internal bleeding. The chance of dying is really high and it depends on the time passed till medical treatment.

  • The floating ribs are a bit lower than just under the pectorals, they are at the bottom of the rib cage. I am an art student so I can estimate quite accurately where you should hit, and your punches are a bit high. And before you give me a thumbs down just feel your ribs, punch yourself, see where it hurst most and you'll see I'm right.

  • I am going for the lower ribs As the green diagram! And as I said 0:11 and not the floating rids that I point out!, they are a lot lower on the rib cage and on the side you can break the floating ribs if you go lower, sorry for the confusion

  • No problem mate. I should have payed attention. Great videos tho. I love them! All of them!

  • @KawabungaFartingDude so your an artist artist then?

  • @KawabungaFartingDude ROFL right as i read this i poked my lower rib and was like OWW FUCK!!!!!!!

  • @KawabungaFartingDude couldnt have said it better myself. anatomy books rule.

  • again, verry good videos...though the skinless guy does get slightly annoying :p

  • (noted) I do keep it down to a minimum now

  • I like them actually... good job creating it!
