Just brought this on DVD out of curiosity and loved it!! Nought wrong with this PPV whatsoever!! The Bragging Rights match I felt was little hollow as far as Smackdown vs Raw was concerned, but it set up the fueds well.
Honestly, John Cena and Orton's match needed blood in my view. That feud needed a bloody, violent ending and it didn't have it. Therefore, I could've cared a lil less for the match. As for Dave going heel on Mysterio, funny shyt. As for the Divas match, meh. The B.R. match was shocking to me. I thought RAW was going over but then again, WWE has dated swerves and everybody should've saw it with Show being on the team. The Miz going over Morrison was funny.
If Cena ever left the WWE for whatever reason, I guarantee you (especially since Dixie Carter seems to be moving TNA in a WWE-esque direction) that TNA will do everything in their power to bring John Cena in there as a main eventer and bring all the kids and young women fans of the WWE to TNA and even boost their popularity. You can say TNA is all about talent, but if TNA has a chance to elevate itself upto WWE level they will take Cena who's WWE's crown jewel right now.

My only gripe with the main event is that there was a portion of the match where Orton was just really slowly beating down Cena.....and that lasted for like 20 minutes. The cheezy stuff with the pyro I also wasn't a huge fan of. Because of that, it is not 4 stars in my opinion. Still there was enough good in the match for me to give it ***3/4. Overall this PPV was decent-good, but there was nothing you really need to see aside from the main event.

Like I said, I didn't see the PPV, but two friends of mine called me up after they saw it and they were laughing at how bad it was. The 1st one said "That Ironman match was the most ridiculous match I've ever seen" and the 2nd called up and said "That was fucking bad dude. That show was fucking bad"
Now I cant judge the show properly because I didn't see it, but I can give my thoughts on the premise of the show & the results.
1st of all, the Raw vs. SD thing is stupid. They did it in 2005, ECW got left out, Survivor Series (ya know, that over 2 decade old PPV about teams battling each other) is right around the corner. This whole concept just seemed like yet another cheap novelty to sell the PPV on just like Lockdown, Extreme Rules, Hell in a Cell & all the rest.
I mean what was the point? They werent fighting for anything. A Trophy?? Who gives an oven baked shit about that?
And then the title matches. Ol' Gimpy retains, & then Batista turns on Rey, so guess what? Punk is not only an afterthought in the whole thing, but Batista is going to take over as SDs top heel. They just took their best heel and cut his legs out from under him & it sucks. Even if he does get the belt back, which is unlikely at this point, hes been castrated thanks to some...

I dont like this pay per view because it was basically used to promote Smackdown VS RAW 2010. The concept of bragging rights was the same concept of survivor series. I didn't really like the main event. im not big on iron man matches they get pretty boring for me after a while and both orton and cena bore me anyways. also the last 10 mins was just so obvious it kind of took any interest i had at all out of the match.
but my main problem tonight was how horrible jerry lawler did on commentary. i know they are supposed to be competitive but he was just making most of the SD guys seem like complete shit.

I think what I hate about TNA the camera work in TNA is that they feel that they need to do a quick zoom on every single move to try to make it look impactful. Sometimes it works, but sometimes it really doesn't. They also do way to many cuts during the sequence of a move. One camera angle is necessary. The one thing i do kinda like is when they set up a shot that has two things goin on at once. Ex, when they showed Sabin all wooziy in the coner but in the background there's action goin on

I agree that the PPV was better than BFG. One thing that I liked a lot was the storyline between Cody and Kofi that lasted throughout the night. One thing I didn't like was the weak ass punch that dropped HHH. Batista turn was also fairly brilliant.

2 things, first off WWE wants the money their making off an over talent in Cena. WWE does have way better talent than Orton and Cena, but right now they're making big splashes on Smackdown and ECW.

My only gripe with the main event is that there was a portion of the match where Orton was just really slowly beating down Cena.....and that lasted for like 20 minutes. The cheezy stuff with the pyro I also wasn't a huge fan of. Because of that, it is not 4 stars in my opinion. Still there was enough good in the match for me to give it ***3/4. Overall this PPV was decent-good, but there was nothing you really need to see aside from the main event.

Now I cant judge the show properly because I didn't see it, but I can give my thoughts on the premise of the show & the results.
1st of all, the Raw vs. SD thing is stupid. They did it in 2005, ECW got left out, Survivor Series (ya know, that over 2 decade old PPV about teams battling each other) is right around the corner. This whole concept just seemed like yet another cheap novelty to sell the PPV on just like Lockdown, Extreme Rules, Hell in a Cell & all the rest.

I dont like this pay per view because it was basically used to promote Smackdown VS RAW 2010. The concept of bragging rights was the same concept of survivor series. For Bragging Rights They Shouldve Brought Back The War Games event. That wouldve gotten alot of buys and wouldve made this PPV memorable

I didn't really like the main event. im not big on iron man matches they get pretty boring for me after a while and both orton and cena bore me anyways. also the last 10 mins was just so obvious it kind of took any interest i had at all out of the match.
but my main problem tonight was how horrible jerry lawler did on commentary. i know they are supposed to be competitive but he was just making most of the SD guys seem like complete shit.
at least Cole and Grisham seemed a bit more respectful

I think what I hate about TNA the camera work in TNA is that they feel that they need to do a quick zoom on every single move to try to make it look impactful. Sometimes it works, but sometimes it really doesn't. They also do way to many cuts during the sequence of a move. One camera angle is necessary. The one thing i do kinda like is when they set up a shot that has two things goin on at once. Ex, when they showed Sabin all wooziy in the coner but in the background there's action goin on
