Daniel johnston verison is great. Kathy McCarty even does a okay verison. One of my favorite, is some dude on youtube, screen name mynamesche. He does a nice one. Maybe my favorite.

In all fairness, they're borrowing off of an even-less known musician. Not to say that Daniel Johnston isn't good, I love his lyrics (and The Eels' rendition of the song), but it doesn't do much for their fame.
