Chris was good in his day but that torn right tricep looks awful. Looks like he has half an arm. Unless he gets that fixed, he is done. Thats the same injury that finally caused Yates to retire.
Chris is one of the significant bodybuilder in the 90's and still being big in the 2000's , I hope he would not retire now , compete two more years he got the whole package in every way
Geez, I just saw a video of this guy when he was 25 and weighing 235 pounds (competition weight) and he looked unbelievable... It's such a shame he went from such an amazing physique to ... this.
The quest for ultimate size is ruining the aesthetic side of bodybuilding, it's a shame really. I guess it's why I'm a natural bodybuilder myself, I'll never be overly big, no matter how hard I try!
I made a comment about the same thing on a diff video. I remember watching him train for the 95 Olympia and he looked great but now...he just looks like something from a sci-fi horror movie
I'm aware that this is his offseason shape, if you'd actually engaged your brain before mashing your fingers on the keyboard you would have read that in my comment I specified "(competition weight)" in my previous comment. I was saying he used to look a lot better at a lighter weight, offseason or not.
I know it's hard for some people, but next time think a little bit before making an idiot of yourself.
That still doesn't make sense. You're obviously not very smart and don't know much about bodybuilding. How can you compare his physique of 235 pounds "(competition weight)" and his off-season weight (this video) and call it a shame? Im not gonna argue with you over this any longer. Chris Cormier has managed to keep his aesthetics and is big as fuck, so you my friend... DON'T KNOW SHIT.
I have to agree with the "sizeable frog." Even when alot of these guys are in contest shape they come out on stage looking like big bloated whales. Bodybuilding used to be about symmetry, muscularity, and artistry. Off season or not, you never saw great bodybuilders like Frank Zane and Bob Paris and even Arnold himself lookin' like a bloated whale. I've competed occasionally and would never let myself get to looking like these monstrosities.
I agree, it's almost sick to see how bloated some of these guys look nowadays. Yes they're huge, I'll give them that, but it doesn't seem like a great body to me when their stomachs are sticking out past their chests
Somewhere along the line, contests like the Olympia and the people that run them (Weider) decided to turn them into a freak show. And you can be sure that their motivation was nothing but profit.. What was best for the sport of bodybuilding wasn't even on their radar. The vast majority of the public considers these blowfish as ugly freaks. I'm not an anti roid crusader as long as they're used to enhance something with symmetry, artistry and beauty......this ain't it.
This guys physique inspired me back in 2001, always was in awe at his back. I'm with you on what you are thinking though, naturally can try hard as you want and won't get too big, It's unfortunate he suffered such a severe injury. Still will always be one of my favorite bodybuilders.
its apparent that you have never steped onstage and competed in a bodybuilding show...cormier is offseason in this video..when a pro does a show he has like 2000 pictures taken of him..those are the ones you see in the magazines...dont ever expect a pro BB to bee in contest condition year round...you can only be at 4-5% bodyfat for so long..
@sizablefrog god ur stupid... the dude is an odd 40 now, considering anatomically he had most of his testosterone between 23 and 25, of course he is going to look his best, one because he was in contest shape, two his body was a lot fresher, three, hes now 15 years older, four this is a guest pose not a competition, five, hes clearly heavily in his off season, six, your stupidity is annoying
@sizablefrog Yeah agreed !!! Oversized BB just is just dont appealing to eyes. Thats why bb at the time of Arnold were more towards sculpting their physique instead of 25 " Arms and they looked good though
Right tricep tear @ 00:34. Ugly arm. His career is over. Same thing happened to Dorian. First a bicep tear, then later the tricep. It ended his career too.Done.
hes off season..the sad part is his stomach in this video is smaller than most of the top pros today..the guys today looked horrible..all blockey and they have gh guts...
did he fuck up his right tricep ? I havent heard anything

His skimpy posing suit leaves nothing to the imagination. He is one of the most hung BB in the field. Hot!
